Looks like things are starting to click for Haley's offense. I think he's really been calling a good game as of late.
I think the chances of him getting the boot at the end of the season are getting slimmer each week.
If we can find another playmaker at WR to compliment AB and maybe a pass catching TE I think this offense is going to be deadly in the future.

Haley and Bicknell have done an unbelievable job considering the issues the o-line has had.

Heath Miller isn't a pass catching TE I think they give him a contract extension this offseason.

I agree, I like where the offence is. No need to make a change. What's impressive is our path work O-line keeps looking strong out there. My head tells me to draft an OT in ROund 1, but now I am just not so sure. Guys just need time to gel.

And I disagree with everyone bashing the playcalling on the series where we were up by 10 and Ben threw the INT. Its not like there was only 4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. It was still the 3rd quarter! It was a bad read by Ben and an incredible play by AJ Hawk. But I have no problem putting the ball in Ben's hands in that situation.

I agree with you, every single time this team gets a lead the defense lays down, well maybe not lay down but they have a hard time holding on. I didn't mind the play call because we all saw the same script in the games we actually lead, get ahead and then play conservative while the defense gets beat and before you know it the team is playing from behind. A great play by Hawk but at least they kept trying to keep going offensively.

Back when it was first announced that Haley would be the new OC, there were a number of us saying that the offense would suffer for a season or two while they adjusted, but that after that they'd start to get into a pretty impressive groove.

So far, it looks like that's what has happened. Let's just hope the groove picks up and becomes something powerful.

I think the play calling being better has a lot to do with Ben in the no huddle. The is a direct link there that this offense is much better with him in the no huddle and calling his own plays.

Haley will be back because of one simple fact....Ben is healthy and not taking the hits that he used to. Ben has played every snap this season and is having his best season ever. AB is also setting records. Haley is going not going anywhere unless another team makes him HC.

I'm not sold on Haley one way or another yet. But, good O line play makes any OC look better. Bad O Line play makes any OC look bad.

Even with Haley, when was the last time we consistently used a fb to pave a path?

Heck. Why stop there. I'd like to see a 2 RB set with either Dwyer/Jones with Bell. Make defenses guess who they need to stop. Fake a handoff and throw a screen to the other.

I cannot complain about Haley. Ben is buying into the system and now it is coming to fruition.

i think the demise of Haley and the rift between him and Ben were greatly over blown.

theres no rule that says the starting qb and oc have to spend Christmas morning together, but it appears that they do have a decent working relationship and thats all thats needed.

regardless of them making or missing the playoffs this year they are building a pretty good offense.

Haley will be staying, it's just too bad the 1st six games it didn't get going. But the 2nd half of the season the offense has been great!
