At this point, I think the team needs to play moneyball, which is young and cheap. If you can't get young, then get cheap.

Therefore, only keep Worlids for the right price, otherwise let him make his money somewhere else.
    Cut Ike and Clark.
Troy is probably good for 2-3 more years, but his salary is ugly. Not sure enough on his deal to say either way.
Hood should come cheap, keep him.
Cut Keisel, he is not young, so not a long term solution. Time for Heyward and Hood to take over.
Woodley, with his cap hit, the question should be, can he play 2 years injury free? If so, keep him since we are already paying him. If not, absorb the loss and move on.

Spaeth - while I'm not sure of his contract position, I'm guessing he costs more that a young guy
Sanders - gone, let someone else pay him, let the young guys and cheap vets take his place.
Pouncey - we need him to protect Ben, plus there are too many other holes on the Oline to fill. While some are playing better, we still aren't running the ball well.

One thing the Patriots don't do, is pay big money for players not named Brady. They play moneyball, go out and get players for cheap that are expected to do the job. While we have Ben, we need to shed the weight from some of the other players, and get players that can fill the roles.

we didn't run the ball well with pounce and we sure haven't protected him in the passing game with pouncey playing. I'm not sure how you can even make that statement.

I'd rather have velasco for 3-4 years and sign a real G, instead of trying to piece meal a line together yet again to keep pouncey for 1 year. my God, can we just fix this line and be done with it.

What's the difference between C and G money? Do you think with Velasco they would actually consider moving a probowl Center to guard? Having said that, I realize probowl is more of a popularity contest. But I was one of many who assumed Pouncey would achor that position for many years in the way Webster and Dawson did

he played guard last yr when legursky played center... i would rather keep velasco on the cheap as a backup... centers at pounceys talent are hard to come by

his athletic ability is better suited for the move than velasco is all I am saying. I think beachem-pouncey-velasco-decstro-foster could be a great line if they could stay healthy. just my opinion

Levi Brown will absolutely not be back. He was a rental. I heard on the post game the other night the he is definitely not coming back. If I were GM my main thing would be to find the best and most affordable linemen on the FA market. One thing I've been thinking though is that maybe since Wallace has shown himself to maybe be serviceable and Velasco is pretty good too if there could be a way to keep them all we might have some actual depth on our line. What do you think?

I say we keep Pouncey at center and put Velesco at guard.

Beachum, Velesco, Pouncey, DeCastro, Gilbert as starters

Foster, Adams, Whimper, Wallace as backups. Also add a rookie and an undrafted rookie free agent.

Maybe Levi Brown will come back but not at 6 mil a year. It's going to be some shuffling going on this offseason.
