Did anyone just see on Fox Sports Pregame how in our game last week against the Dolphins, at the end of the half, the Fins Special Team Coach was on the field as we were running the ball back to the end of the half? He even ran into the referee. Nothing was called. Remember we ended the half and play on the Dolphins 25. We should have had an un-timed play.

Don't worry, there was a punishment for the play.... Their coach was fined $10,000. However, there is no talk of the Dolphins losing a draft pick over a play that could have directly influenced the game and maybe our playoffs? No there isn't. What a surprise different penalties for different teams. I understand that Tolin is on the Competition Committee, but that was their special teams coach. I am tired of being treated differently. I wonder if all of this stuff has to do with us being the one team to vote against the CBA.

When did Steelers fans become such victims? I swear it seems as if there are 50 posts a day crying about the league being out to get the team. The Dolphins guy is 20 yards away from the play while Tomlin was feet. Apples and oranges

When the NFL is consistent in disciplining teams we will stop complaining

Humans aren't consistent, never have been, never will be. No refereeing on earth is consistent. The league isn't out to get the Steelers, but I swear, Steelers fans are the biggest babies on earth. Always whining about something. Drives me crazy.

Wow. Just saw the play. Can't believe anyone is crying over that. Far from the same thing Tomlin did.

I defended Tomlin big time but this really isn't even close to the same thing.

That said, I totally believe Goodel makes an example out of the Steelers any chance he can. And yes, our vote on the CBA may have something to do with that but the feud started before then.

Their coach was on the field, should have been a penalty.

There are probably 2 dozen plays a game where a penalty could have been called and it was missed. Just because that penalty was missed doesn't mean there's some giant anti Steelers conspiracy.

Stop saying Steelers fans (me) reported this. Jay Glazer reported this and it was discussed on Fox today by the whole crew. They were the ones (especially Michael Strahan) that said the NFL should be consistent with its rulings. I was just relaying what was said and yes, it does piss me off! I just wanted to hear what Steelers fans thought after seeing the discussion.

I don't mean to "cry" about the play in question but I just read a good point that someone else made. Part of the reasoning and the main reason why we are being punished so severely and without precedent is because the NFL is saying that we may have cost the rats points and that may affect tie breakers. Follow me so far? Now to get to the "Fruit" of the matter. A penalty that should of been called would of given us the ball at the 25yd line ,with one free play. It could have been a 42yd FG or possibly a TD. That's a point differential. It's hard to criticize a fan for"crying" when there are countless examples of bias and favoritism against us. How do you like those apples?:godell:

    Win.

It could have been a win, those points could have led to us winning that game. Never know, it's all just speculation, like the Tomlin situation. But if we lose a draft pick for possibly taking points away from the BlackBirds, I wonder what the penalty would be for possibly taking a win away from us? Fair and equitable is all I want to see.

It's not even close to being the same thing. Tomlin may have directly taken points away from the Ravens by interfering in the play. The Dolphins coach did not directly interfere with the play. He was on the field and that could have been a penalty, but for whatever reason the refs didn't call it, the same way they didn't call it against us.

The coach didn't take points away from us. This is apples and oranges and yes, it's crying and it's pathetic. Flame away, but I can't stand listening to grown men whine.
