Absolutely right....this is NOT our year to go to the playoffs.....

But if it WERE.....the diabolical plan would start this Thursday with San Diego losing at Denver....

 

If the Jets go 9-7, and the best the Steelers can do is 8-8, then how can the Steelers get the 6th seed?

 

That was 'obviously' a mis-type and we here on the message board are accountable for that....

You wanna really blow your minds, there's still a lose to Green Bay and get IN scenario at 7-9!!!! Of course, it would involve the Bengals Cheerleaders beating the Ravens in week 17 (and make no mistake -- the way things are looking the Bengals very well COULD be starting their cheerleaders in that final game of the regular season)

The jets have won 1 game out of six on the road, they have a road game sunday against the 9-4 panthers and another road game in Miami who has already beat them at home by 20 points, they do get the browns at home but that game is even iffy for them, the jets could easily go 6-10 or 7-9, but 8-8 is out of reach for them based on their road record .......

Week 17- Jets beat Dolphins, Steelers beat Browns

Steelers are in. Doesn't matter what happens in any other game in any other week.

I could really see the Steelers winning 3 in a row. I just hope the Jets could upset the Dolphins this is the biggest obstacle in my book! The rest will fall into place. If the steelers don't deserve 6th seed, the rest don't either.
