However, based on so many of the posts, Haley is the problem.

Somehow, I think that if Brown had not stepped out and scored, it would have been overturned: Ben threw a forward lateral to him.

So how can this team get better. We have some talent, we should not be this bad.

If they ruled it a td they would have to have went with the call on the field.

I also don't know if this has been mentioned but the fact that AB was hanging out with Wallace and laughing and cutting up after the game is absolutely infuriating to me. I don't think we would have seen the TRUE Steelers GREATS on the field hamming it up AFTER stepping out of bounds and costing your team a win. I just don't think these guys get it. I don't think they understand the legacy those colors and that helmet represent. I've just not seen the fire. Does it only bother me to see AB doing crap like that when we basically just shot ourselves in the collective foot? I think the players should take the losses even harder than the FANS do but I think only very few players are that way. For me that play with AB will be a Steelers play that I always remember where I was when it happened. For all the wrong reasons. But I don't think he cares about that. I honestly can't think of a time that I've ever been more mad except for when Neil threw Super Bowl 30 to the cowgirls.

They would have reviewed the score only and they missed that call on the field so even if they would have noticed it it wouldn't have mattered. It would've been like the Fail Mary from the Hawks/Pack MNF game last year where there was a BLATANT PI that was missed but then on review they couldn't flag it and had to go with the ruling (mistaken I will grant you) on the field. I think that would've happened on this play too.

Yeah, I said that in another thread, I thought that was why they called off the TD.

They called it off because he stepped out of bounds. I don't think they would've been able to do anything about the forward pass.

I know that, I'm saying at that time, before we were told that he stepped out of bounds, I thought it was because of Bens pass.

And yes, I think you are right, I don't think they can review everything in that play, only what is called.

Yeah. I've been saying that. The Fail Mary is the prime example of that. It would be like if they ruled something a td and then on review realized there was a hold and took it away. They can't do that and I don't think they could've done that on this play. Now IF it hadn't been inside 2 minutes the fins could've challenged based on the forward pass and they would've certainly won that one.

I'll have to watch it again, but I really thought it was a lateral and not a forward pass. I don't think there was enough visual evidence to overturn.

    My complaints:
Our defense is horrible. The Dolphins moved the ball at will when they needed to. It felt like the guy playing on one good ankle rushed for 500 yards today.
Why does no one on defense (looking at Troy and Cortez) wrap up when they tackle?
Jarvis Jones is not man enough at this point to play in the NFL. It's sad the way he gets pushed around and man-handled.
DL needs to move on and play more golf. It's just time.
The jersey exchange between AB and Wallace at the end was just sweet, wasn't it?
AB's field awareness on that last play was as bad as Tomlin's sideline awareness last week. Was he watching himself on the jumbotron?
Ben's 4th quarter heroics are no more. At one point he had 5 or 6 straight incompletions.

That's all for now. I'm sure I'll think of more later.

Yeah I've been saying that it was really infuriating to see AB and Wallace having a little lovefest after AB made a complete fool of himself.

All scoring plays are reviewed. The "lateral" sure is reviewable: remember the Tennessee-Buffalo playoff game. That one was reviewed. There's a difference between a PI and a lateral. The PI is not reviewable under scoring rules. The lateral is.

But I don't think it would've been reviewable under 2 minutes without being specifically challenged.

I actually would like to have an "official" explanation on that. I think they would'nt have overturned it if they didn't see the lateral though.

I couldn't hear the game since I was at a sportsbar but How did Mike Adams do? Only time I saw ben running for his life was when he dropped back and started pickin his nose
