Tomlin should expect a hefty fine for this nonsense.

I disagree, if Tomlin is suspended, he will be the 1st ever Steeler coach to be suspended; that is also a slap in the Rooney's face.

As far as any decision as to what to do with Tomlin, that decision is not mine to make and rests solely with the Steeler ownership.

What's funny to me is that when people are publicly apologizing and they say "I will accept my punishment" or something like that and I'm always thinking "well do you think if you said you WOULDN'T accept it that it would keep it from coming???" LOL. I'm sure this reminds us all of the episode of The Cosby Show where Theo gets in trouble and says "I'll accept my punishment" and Claire really lets him have it for saying that. I know what Tomlin means though. I think that's his way of saying he won't "appeal" or whatever but can coaches even appeal things anyway? Or can only players do that since they are in the union?

Well that would be counter intuitive on your part because then they would REALLY overblow it. LOL! Think Tommy Boy! Think!

Y'all know My take on "I'll take full responsibility" Means I did it but if I admit it, don't make me feel bad. He's Lucky he isn't one of my Marines!

Again, the responses would be different if we won that game. Winning cures everything with our fan base!

I just got a chance to listen to the press conference. I think he handled it as well as he could. Didn't sound at all to me like he was blowing smoke, covering his tracks, or being political. Just owning up for his mistake and apologizing for it.

MT was copping a plea to the league to get a lighter sentence, criminals do this in front of a judge everyday to get a lighter sentence, they humble themselves admitting they were wrong but meant no bad intent from their actions: I still cant understand how if you want to get out of the way by moving left, why you wouldn't push off from your right foot in place, instead of lifting your right foot and placing it further to the right on the field to push off, I just cant square up the intent from that technique, it's not natural, and I think the league is trying to figure out that one unnatural move, or they would have already passed the penalty down instead of dragging this thing out, put your feet together and see if you would push off with your right foot in place, or would you lift it and plant it farther out to the right to push off????

$100,000 fine to Tomlin... with possible loss of draft picks. Ugh. I'm ok with the fine, but not the picks. And why not decide now?

I couldnt disagree with you more. This is a BIG deal. Not only is it an embarrassment to our team and franchise to do a thug move like that, but the league frowns on stuff like that big time. He now KNOWS, after speaking with the Rooneys Im sure, what a big deal it is, hence him addressing it at the press conference. The biggest issue is his reaction, caught on camera, after he did it. You can hope that he wont get anything, but we, as a team, will be lucky if he only gets fined.

I don't see it that way, looked pretty insignificant to me but no need for me to rehash what I have said before, just disagree with you on this one.

going to be an interesting off season for art 2, dan and the owners.

an 8-8, this season, this blackeye, possible draft pick loss<(that's huge), all this with the money we have against the cap and a franchise qb.:cool:

If there is an overblown response like losing draft picks, with that the Rooneys should remove the team from what would be a joke of a league.

yeah ah you mean the same guy who destroyed the Spygate tapes even though he "claims "there was nothing damning about them. The league could of used it as a tool of what not to do. Or a tutorial on how to cheat your way to a SB or 2 or 3.

why does everyone keep pointing out his reaction and the fact he was smiling as a admission of guilt. To me it was more of a indicator that he was embarrassed to be in that situation he put himself in. Doesn't anyone think that if his act was premeditated his reaction would of been different. He would of put on a different facade, but that's just me.

The punishment has been handed out. It's time to move on. The fact that losing a draft pick is even a thought makes me wanna punch Jolly Roger in the face even more. If I had a gun with two bullets and had the head of Al Qaeda and Goodell in front of me I'd shoot Roger twice. Just kidding.....lol.

LOL! I KNEW you would THROW THAT IN MY FACE! I was thinking the other day that Scruffy is a hippY, BobbyBiz is a hipSTER, and YOU are hip REPLACEMENT! HAHAHAAHAHAH!!!! I just figured you would beat the crap out of me for putting that so I held off til now and decided to go for broke! Scruffy liked songs about pot. Bobby likes Steely Dan and I just always thought it was so funny that I thought you were really young and then you dropped the bomb on me but you are very vibrant so take it as a huge compliment! You're a good man. Also leave those pictures far away!
