I figured they'd sign another OT type (to replace that Butler guy) not another C/G like they already have.

Who? If they did a better job at drafting O-linemen they wouldn't need to sign these scrubs off the street.

Kind of hard to know who will get injured and that half the line goes down in a game/etc. No team carries more than 8-10 linemen on their roster at a time...so when guys go down you gotta go to the street.

The way Ben and the no huddle is working, even the scrubs will look good. I don't want this news to depress me for the Dolphin game, I'll b!tch* after....

Why not bring back Mike Golic's kid? If I remember correctly, he was never given a chance to show what he had or didn't have.

That's what I was thinking. They keep sying he didn't have the proto-typical arm length, blah, blah, but then they put guys out there that don't have those same intangibles.

Never even gave him a shot.

heck I liked both olsen and snow in their perspective drafts. olsen did 35 reps on the bench so he's got some strength and was a top 5 at center, the year he came out in the draft.

snow has started 2 games and played in 5, not to mention started 52 games at texas. < big plus, that game experience. actually more than cody Wallace. none the less all 3 were pretty good centers at high profile programs. at this point in the season, we should be so lucky really.

I can't understand why long has not been brought up yet. they must figure beachum is going to be available to them in some capacity or adams by sunday. why not a healthy joe long though?

I thought they also expierimented with foster as an emergency center in camp?

You have to wonder why Snow went undrafted, and why the Bills let him go, is he just raw, or is he a bust with no upside????

Exactly. I don't particularly remember anyone complaining at drafting Decastro, for example. The fact we've been blighted by injuries doesn't really relate to our drafting in any shape or form.

And at this stage of the season, scrubs off the street are the only guys around.

I see what you mean mac - the Bills have to wait for a player to sign with us, show some promise and get cut before they'll put them in their starting line-up. Snow's just here to fill that bit of his resume out.

We needed another C/G to replace Foster because Foster will be the emergency OT if someone goes down.
