Did the original video show him side-stepping to the edge like that? Right when the KDKA video highlights him.

The league has a plethora of angles to look from, so this won't change anything in their eyes.

I doubt they suspend Tomlin, they wouldn't want to improve our chances of winning. LOL :lolol:

I'm sure they will be looking at footage from other games as well, to determine if he's wandered this close in other games.

Maybe I'm over-simplyfing it, but if I was in Tomlin's shoes and if I was innocent, then I'd volunteer to submit to a lie detector test. :hmmm:

IMO Tomlin's punishment should be a fine (him only, not the team) and a 1-game suspension from coaching on the sideline (he still could coach from the press boxes for that game).

    One can only hope.

Heck, maybe this thing will be the team's rallying point for a playoff push.

To be administered live at halftime of the Pro Bowl! Roger, baby, you want the ratings for the Pro Bowl to improve, this is one sure fire way to do it!

I've touched on this, seems to be selective cheating, this is ok but this isn't. Either none of it is acceptable or it all is, don't get to choose which.

How about if the manager gets in the base line?

There's definitely different levels/ severity of cheating. To lump them all together is absurd.

Don't see how it's absurd, by your statement you are saying that cheating is sometimes acceptable to you.

For the record, if I thought what Tomlin did was on purpose, I'd disapprove, I also don't like when anyone on any team I root for, football, baseball, whatever, tries to pretend they caught a ball when they know they didn't, I don't approve of stealing signs in baseball, I don't approve of using PED's, in short, I don't approve of any form of cheating on any level.

Wait a minute now, don't go putting words in my mouth. My moral standard and what the NFL allows/ deems acceptable a two different things.

What you said about different levels of cheating just backs up my statement about selective cheating.

I'm not saying cheating is ok. If you cheat then you get punished, the level of punishment is not up to me when it comes to the NFL.

Since he answered every question about this in the presser, I propose we close this thread.

Luckily, Tomlin was never asked if he'd take a lie detector test. :smiley1:

Not sure, but some say this makes him even with Haley's 2 off-field incidents; but I still gotta give Tomlin the lead by an "uncomfortable margin".

Come on Blast, man we haven't even made to the "halftime festivities" (the punishment phase) of Tomlin's caper yet. Heck we still got the post punishment phase and the Pouncey's "Free Mike Tomlin" hats to go yet. ;)

Unless Tomlin signs a certified document "Boo Hoo!", or is heard insulting someone's sexuality in public, I think Todd's got the lead on him. ;)

Todd is likely leading in Pittsburgh & Kansas City, but I'd bet that Tomlin is out in front most everywhere else.
