This makes me think the photo of this incident (allegedly) in another thread may be photoshopped.

As Hudson ran by the Steelers' bench, an angry Cowher clenched his hands as if he were about to step onto the field, but held himself back.

The photo clearly shows Cowher ON THE FIELD. I don't remember Cowher actually setting foot on the field.

Indeed, this was bad. And it's been debated over and over on other threads how bad this was. However...

To me, there's one distinction: Cowher manned up and admitted to and apologized for what had happened. While I think the media response to Tomlin's "gamesmanship" is overblown, I also think he has offered a lame excuse about watching the return on the jumbotron. Had Tomlin simply admitted to what he'd done and apologized, this wouldn't be such an issue.

 

The pic wasn't photoshopped. I remember that game well. I wanted to punch something too.
