Who is starting to feel that something special might be ready to happen. I just have not felt it all season, even during training camp. I'm starting to now. I love what Worilds, Heyward, and Troy are doing on defense. They are starting to look like play makers. Brown is having a record breaking season and Bell is looking better and better and Ben is looking clutch and I have not seen this much emotion out of him ever. And oh by the way, How many sack has the line given up the last two weeks? ONE. Things are starting to come together. Lets Bring it Thursday!

    I feel it :herewego::steelflag:

But also hoping they are doing some serious brainstorming in case they come up against NE or Denver.

Thursday's games is sooo huge. We win, we have 10 days off and 3/4 remaining games at home. We lose, and....

I thoughtI felt it....turned out it was just gas.

I think folks need to slow their roll with the playoff talk. The offensive line has played better recently, but they are still below average. And the secondary, specifically Ike, has been beat for 400 plus yards by TWO receivers....not a receiving corp, but two individuals. And today's performance was against Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden...not exactly Brady or Brees. Take the past several wins for what they are worth...sugar to help the medicine, that is this years team, go down.

    Go Burgh!

No one is turning a blind eye to this teams flaws but the fact is, they are playing much better football and more importantly, look at the playoff race, no reason not to be talking playoffs.

Hey, we're 3-0 in the second half of the season and have won 5 of 7. It's absolutely astounding that we have very realistic playoff hopes at this point after our abysmal start. I'm feeling it. We're not there yet but if we can beat the Rats on Thursday I believe there is a better chance that we make the playoffs than that we don't. Of the 5-6 teams, we are really the only one that has an arrow pointing upward at this point.

Oooohhh What a Feeling!!!!... No, Not Toyota, Damnit, The 2013 Pittsburgh Steelers!!!
Not sayin we have fixed all our problems, by any means, BUT...
The D is getting turnovers... Ben is stayin fairly clean, Bell looks like we might have picked up a good runningback, again...
Not sure I am "feeling" it yet, but we sure seem to be on the right track....
Now let`s see what happens when "these two trains meet on the tracks"!!!
Beat the Cravens in their house, and we still got Cincy, and the Clowns again, to handle our business in the division.
I think we can take Miami, And Green Bay is gonna be our biggest hurdle, unless Rogers is still hurt...
Buckle up, kids! This could be the beginning of another record breaking run!
0-4, to Superbowl Champs! Just gotta figure out how to win in Denver, LOL...
Seriously, I`m just happy we have a chance to get in the dance, given how we started the season...
One game at a time, MIGHT just get us where we wanna go!!!:herewego!:

Hey, I'm not poo pooing their effort the past few weekends. Since They've begun to remove their heads from their collective asses, Sunday's have been much more enjoyable. However, the line is still below average at best. I'm a firm believer that games are won at the line of scrimmage...and i don't trust either of ours for long stretches—particularly agains playoff caliber teams. At the beginning of the year I thought we'd split with the Ravens and Bengals and sweep the Browns. If that holds true we'll drop one division game yet...and IF Rodgers is back, we likely get lit up by the Pack—they are putting up 400 plus of offense with 3rd and 4th QB's. I think we are at best 8-8...about what I thought we would be this summer. To me, that's not a playoff team, and I'm not interested in the playoffs as some kind of moral trophy for the season. Not trying to be a downer...just calling it like I see it.

I'm liking what they are doing, but damn they need a LT in this years draft and they are playing into a project pick if/when they make the Playoffs.

I was resigned to say at least they'll get a top LT. Now I'm an all the way to the Superbowl or nothing guy! A Superbowl win would clear some room in cap space!

Well, the Steelers have beaten the Bills, Lions and Browns the last 3 weeks. That's good but this weeks game in Baltimore will tell if this team is good or not.

Yeah but the rats don't have a winning record either. The Lions do and we handled them pretty well I think. Except for that 2nd quarter.

They should sign a FA LT, don't ask me how, but I'd rather do that with a guy you know is good then trust that they hit on a draft pick. They seem to have some issues evaluating lineman.

Yeah, Detroit is a better team then the rats, that game was the real test.

That's what I've been saying for a while is that the Rooney's should just flat out force them to get linemen strictly off of FA. I just don't think we evaluate or develop them very well. I'm not quite sure which it is.

I honestly haven't been confident in this team since the 2008 season. We beat Dallas with a Townsend pick six. Then the home game vs the chargers. Then beating the ravens three times. After that dramatic home victory vs Dallas I just knew there was something special about that team. I still think we can contend but I won't be surprised if this team has a meltdown.

We've hit homeruns with FA OL before, so I agree that we should try that first. Look at Jeff Hartings and more recently, Fernando Velasco (man we were fortunate to get him). There are other Hartings and Velascos out there.

But having said that, if an elite LT who comes from a PASSING PROGRAM is available, let's draft him!

Yes the glasses are back on. I think we win a closer than it should be game Thursday night to get back to .500. We then eliminate the Dolphins the following week with a W. That puts us in a position to possibly be playing for the division vs. Cincy. That is crazy considering I had pretty much written them off this year. Take care of business Thursday night, stay healthy, get a W and then enjoy the long weekend!!!

We are improving and that is the key right now!

Im definitely feeling it. I have been so depressed watching the first half of the season but, we are on to something here. You can SEE the confidence on the field now.

I am cautiously optimistic that we will keep the Mo going well enough to make the postseason. It's easy to be pessimistic when you look at this team's warts, until you also look at everyone else's warts. The reality is that every team in the AFC other than Denver and NE have serious question marks. Look at Indy. They are an absolute shambles without Wayne. The Chiefs were the worst 9-0 team I've ever seen before their game in Denver. Now they've dropped 2 straight and are coming back to earth. The Bengals have a very talented roster, but are still showing that home/away Jekyll & Hyde personality to some extent. Of the rest of the 5-6 teams, only Baltimore has a realistic shot at winning 9 games.

This Thursday is flat out pivotal.
