Ummm. Really? Nobody has brought up those hideous uniforms? PLEASE throw the throw back uni's out in the trash.

Oh wait, they won with them. Maybe we should wear them every week.

This is easy. Mine is the same complaint every week. Had to watch the Bungle game and listen to the Steelers on sirius.

Bengals are on a bye next week so I am hoping I can finally watch the Steelers. :beg:

I couldn't watch the game because it wasn't broadcast in my area and because I had to work.
Though I did get to listen to the last 4 min of 4th quarter on the radio, and a complaint from that would be that Bill Hillgrove couldn't always tell which player was in the game due to the uniforms, lol.

Yea, but in Bens case it should be 200 just so Steelers fans can justify his "eliteness".

Yeah I think that was originally what BbbyBiz was saying. We need a special "BEN RATING". LOL.

I think you may be on to something there...I think they are ridiculously ugly, but they seem to be working for us so...

Other than that, I have NO complaints!! Sooo happy about this win!

I think the reason we play well in them is it would just heighten the embarrassment of wearing them by also losing in them. It's the old insult to injury thing.

Not a complaint, just a question. Is anyone concerned about Bell's paltry 3 ypc for the season and 2 ypc in the Lions game? Why or why not?

He just can't seem to get on track but when I watch him I always feel that it's just a matter of time. Obviously the OL has something to do with it but the really good RBs have a way of making mediocre OLs look pretty good.

Yep. Dwyer has a 4.6 yard average and Felix Jones is at 3.6.

    Not really.

I can't emphasise enough how much more energised the run game became when Bell was healthy. Maybe that's in the eye of the beholder. Maybe not. But I think this kid is going to be great.

The simply reason why his ypc was so down yesterday was that the passing game was destroying the Lions, so we threw the ball more. It's a rare sighting of the team playing to its strengths on the day.

Definitely the oline has alot to do with it but we also remember he's a rookie. Just 6 games under his belt I believe. We don't even have an average line right now. I say give him time and give him an average oline and we will see mark improvement.

Nope, the yardage isn't great and that can be attributed to the line but he also has 4 TD's and 238 yards receiving. Everyone forgets that a big factor in drafting him is his ability to catch the ball.

And not for nothing, but 375 yards behind this line isn't terrible, wait until they actually start opening some holes for him.

Great game, I was there. Here are my complaints:

    1. Where were the Steelers fans? ....lots of empty seats yesterday, lots of Lions fans in the stands, most fans of another team I have ever seen in our stadium in 10 years of going to games. Seems like people left in the second half too! Boo!

    2. Wish we could have ran the ball into the endzone, where do you find guys who actually get a push in the run game? Bell had to do some amazing dancing behind the LOS just to get a few yards.

    3. I want Jarvis to get some more sacks... looks like he is lacking some strength and speed right now.

I'm undecided ... do we keep McBriar as our punter or do we try yet another one??

Just wish he had a little more push in short yardage. Not sure he is our best back in short yardage. He does not need to hesitate on short yardage and just hit it hard and drive. Don't see that in him.

As far as catching he has dropped a lot more than he has caught. :hmmm:

Why do people makes stuff up. He has 24 receptions, you trying to say he has more then 24 drops? More like around 3 or 4, I'm sure someone can verify this.

Not making it up, but should have said passes thrown to him versus passes caught!

And we don't have a good hit rate throwing to our backs to begin with!

He's had 3 drops. Thrown at 31 times, 24 receptions, 3 drops, 9.9 yards avg per reception, 11.3 yards after catch avg per reception.

Just out of curiosity, where do you find those stats? Pro Reference just has receptions, yardage and a couple of things.

    wait
are we actually led to believe he dropped 3 of 6 passes not completed???

    so
    what you're saying is
Big Ben threw three pick sixes with the other tosses he didn't complete?

damn you Haley and your playcalling unless we were nohuddle
    then
damn you ben and your playcalling
