It never fails every time a washed up player gets released the fans want the Steelers to sign him. Reed got benched in Texas and is coming off a injury not interested we already have 2 safeties in their thirties who can't cover.

Today I told someone that Troy was better than Ed Reed and they said I was nothing but a "biased homer". I would argue that I am nothing but "right". But whatever I guess.

 

I think Ed is best at playing centerfield and Try is best at disrupting plays and tackling.

Both players make QBs account for them on every play.

 

I don't advocate signing him but you know the Pats will take a run at it and if he does I expect that he makes several plays for them on their road to the playoffs, and in them, that will have people going why didn't we kick the tires on him.

 

Oh I agree totally that they are both great players. Troy is guess is more instinctive and Ed is more studious. I would give the overall edge to Troy based on how versatile he is though.
