Still have a hard time understand the issues we have. All year, and last we get there and stall out? Haley's dink and dunk would seem like it would work inside the 20's but the closer we get the more ineffective we become. Oline plays a huge role I know, but its been off for two years now. Just hurts the brain thinking about it

yeah it is disappointing I am not sure what the problem is probably a bad oline, ineffective ground game, no big wr, any I missed?

I don't know that it's the sole problem, but I agree wholeheartedly that we need a tall receiver who can stand at the back of the endzone like Burress used to.

I think part of the problem is that heath was out at the beginning of the season, and also that our o-line isnt the best which makes us keep the TE's back to stay in and block. Heath was a major part of our redzone scheme and our ineffectiveness of our o-line causes a domino effect for the rest of the offense.

Play calling inside the twenty is to predictable and conservative. Run, run, pass! Run, run, pass every down the ball is snapped with 1 second left on the play clock. Just pass it three times once in awhile Haley sheeeesh.

Brady doesn't have a big WR. He only has Gronk. I do agree that having a big WR helps, but I don't see it as the defining reason for our struggles. Also, in case you haven't noticed, despite having Calvin, Stafford has struggled in the red zone for most of his career. Everything shrinks in the red zone, and suddenly QB's have to make their reads faster than ever. Not all QB's can do this effectively.

Throughout the entire game, how many times did we throw to our best WR (AB) in the red zone?
You won't need too many fingers to count them.

I know one thing those fade passes to Brown and Sanders aren't working they're too short. They need to use Moye more often except he's inactive most of the time.

Moye should be in the game once they hit the redzone. hes the only tall wr they have and i cant understand why he doesnt get in the game.

im getting sick of seeing the fade route thrown to AB, Sanders and Miller. let Miller, Paulson and Moye run into the endzone and let Ben throw the ball over everyone and give those guys a chance to out jump them.

Gotta look at the QB to take some of that blame. It is not a 2013 issue. Has been an issue for 4 yrs now. Cotchery is the best option. Nothing against him as I like what he brings, but neither sanders nor brown can be relied on to get open in short space so when your best redzone option is a dude you picked up to fill a hole you have issues. And AB/ES are just not big enough to fight for a ball in traffic. Hence, Suisham MVP.

i understand that Cotch is being used and doing a good job, but that no reason for not putting Moye in the game.

is it too much to ask to have more than one redzone threat on the field at one time?

The problem with putting Moye insoley in the redzone package is that i sorta tips your hand. They need to utilize him more through out the game so it isn't a tell. either that or use it as an advantage and wait till they try to double cover him and then find the single coverage on some one else. I really miss the quick slant down in the redzone I think we have quick receiver in the slot that should be able to take a slant and turn up field and get close to the goaline and then go jumbo and punch it in. They should at least be trying some dbl Te sets that they throw to Paulson because no one will expect that.
