About 75%(I'm being nice) of the stuff people post here is not fact, more opinion. Opinions are fine until people try to pass them off as fact. Funny how when someone gets confronted with facts and real numbers to dispel their opinion they either run and hide or make up more fairy tales.

This right here is why people shouldn't even mention getting rid of Ben.

I don't think Grad ia anywhere near as good as Ben,however with all the rules favoring the QB and the WR I could see finding a good option at QB a lot easier than in years past..

The Spread, the Zone read, the Pistol all are here to stay.....Finding a good QB is not as hard to find as it used to be ,for the simple fact now they are playing the same style they have played all their life....

Totally disagree, I can rattle off a bunch of names that are currently failing in todays league. You'll see, you all will.

Yeah Grad played on some great teams back then..

He was a rookie in 2006

    2006 TB 4 -12
    2007 TB 9 - 7

    2008 Browns 4 -12

    Oak 2009 5- 11
    Oak 2010 8 - 8

    Cin 2011 9 - 7

then cinci got better with Ginger

I bet he could do a better job than Ben with the weapons he has with Pitts. We wouldn't lose as much yardage with the sacks and forced fumbles, Grad would throw it away. Even when Ben has time and guys open, he's either throwing the ball into the ground or floating them over their heads.

Yep he's your $17 million man, he won 2 rings with a solid D who bailed him out a million times, without the D he would have 0 rings.

Yes and you can also rattle off a bunch of guys at QB who are playing at a high level early in their careers....

If the rules stay the same more and more Teams are going to go to the spread,The Pistol, and the zone read...This will lead to more Athletic style QB'S,I see no way around it...

Coaches are just now learning how to run these Offenses and are just now learning how to build the talent to run them.

Bet you I'll come up with more. And don't be too certain those offenses will last, more likely the flavor of the week, soon as defenses catch up, it will be done. 49ers are already running a lot less of it, teams don't want their QB's killed, because unlike what you think, finding good QB's is hard to do.

You cant compare bens 10 picks with peyton and brees, they are the 2 top touchdown leaders, peyton has 35 TDs with 6 picks, brees has 28 TDs with 7 picks ben has 10 picks with 13 TDs, just no comparison here, if ben had 35 tds with 10 picks then that would be acceptable, but he isn't even close and if ben scored tds like peyton and drew we wouldn't be having this losing season...

I'm not giving them a pass because they have more TD's, they are on much better teams with much better lines with much better pieces. The fact remains, they have around the same number of turnovers, the reason I am pointing it out is to show that Ben doesn't have some kind of exuberant turnover ratio. Also, the bulk of his turnovers came in three terrible games, which again had a lot to do with the line and as someone else pointed out, came during desperation mode when you need to take more risks.

So, you think if Ben was playing for Denver or the saints he would be putting up the same stats as peyton and drew? I don't think it's all about the other 10 players he has around him, but it's about making the right decisions and throwing accuracy that seperates pocket passers from each other...

Absolutely not, there are parts of their game that Ben could never duplicate but do you think Peyton and Brees would have the same numbers they do playing for us?

    Ben's not going anywhere!
People need to get over it and move on to "Fire Tomlin" , wait we've already done that.
How about Fire Haley or Colbert or cut Woodley, cut Troy, Rebuild, Fire LeBeau, Wait we've done those over and over.
    Anyone have anything new?
We win and this place is dead, but we lose and you can't keep up around here. How about some enthusiasm when we do good people?

Hey I Love pocket passing Play Action type of QB'S the problem is the rules and the game is not that way anymore...The Power Running game is on its way out just like the pocket QB .....Defenses will not catch up because they can't,,if it is run correctly and guys execute at a high level their is no way to stop an Offense under the current rules IMO....Not saying I like it that's just the way I see it...

It's pretty complicated and I'm still too angry over it to try to explain it coherently anyway. Good news is that it's resolved. :smiley1:

That's a hypothetical, no one knows, ben hasn't turned the ball over as many times as the article inferred, counting his pick yesterday he has eleven, and he has fumbled the ball 7 times this year with 5 resulting in a turnover, so to date he has turned the ball over 16 times in 9 games averaging just under 2 a game, while that in it's self wouldn't be a concern if this team was hitting on all cylinders it is a major concern in this teams present state especially with the lions coming to town sunday, any turnover in this game will be a huge setback....
