Incognito video. He does seem to be a bit of a loon.

Dude this guy seems like one of the biggest scumbags ever. If you've not seen his voicemail that he left to Martin it is really pathetic. He sounds like a strereotypical character from a really hardcore prison movie directed by Martin Scorcese.

Kyle Turley is a former player who had a helmet throwing incident. Maybe he was in the bar?

Dude is a wacko. I'm surprised to hear a few players defending him.

And look who was with him....Mike Pouncey. I think everyone of those linemen fed into this abuse in some form or fashion. I'm starting to get the feeling that they should lock Velasco in to a long term contract sooner rather than later..

Actually in the video where he's going crazy around that pool table and says n----- it was Pouncey that he was calling that.

Kinda weird that a bunch of roid heads would hang out in a pool hall with their shirts off and plumber butts hanging out.

Hey you want to go shoot some pool down at the local hall?
Sure, let me get rid of my shirt first.

    Eight Ball anyone?

Yeah that was odd...and gay (ooops can I say that anymore?).
I'd like to know what precipitated it though. It seemed that there was some sort of altercation between "Secret Dick" (the literal translation of Rich Incognito) and the smaller shirtless white dude and Pouncey was trying to diffuse the situation and move Mr Secret Dick along.

Okay, let's get real here. You're exactly right, BFT, Incognito was calling Pouncey the N word. He called Jonathan Martin the N word. The press is all over it saying that Incognito is a racist and uses racial slurs, which is technically true. BUT...you go to any NFL team and I GUARANTEE YOU that the African-Americans on that football team call each other that word with alarming regularity. AND...besides that, I GUARANTEE that there are a few "in the club" white boys, like Richie Incgnito, that they allow to use that word as well. The media is making it look like Incognito is the Grand Wizard of the KKK, but I'm pretty sure that the black players on this team not only knew Incognito used the N word, but were okay with him doing it. Did you see Pouncey smiling in the video? Do you think if he felt that Incognito was using that word in a malicious and derogatory manner that he would not have gone over and smashed his ugly mug in? You know he would! And guess what guys, that kind of language, including the N word being used with alarming regularity, is going on in every locker room in the league, including the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the guy. I think he's a repulsive individual who needs to get his head screwed on straight, but let's not make more of this than it actually is. I don't think that word should be used, but it is used and it's used by many that would find the word highly offensive if someone called them that with ill intent. Incognito is going to take a hard fall for this, but I for one don't think it's really that uncommon around the NFL and quite honestly, some other parts of society. By many accounts, Incognito was generally liked by his teammates and there have been black teammates defending him. I'm sure he was one of the "guys" and his use of that repulsive word was probably more accepted than maybe we think and the media is wrongly trying to make it out to be driven by racial hatred. I"m sure there is MUCH more to come.

What is this N word everyone refers to? Nincompoop? Oh, it's the other word that made stars out of Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle and just about every rapper out there. Richard Pryor even used it in the title of one of his albums. That N word?

I know, my point is that while he's running around this bar acting like a buffoon, Pouncey (Maurkice's brother and they tend to hang out with the same group outside of the season) and the rest of them are encouraging him. Couple that with the dumb move of coming out with "Free Hernandez" hats and defending behavior like this and I think the team needs to lock up a starting quality center that isn't named Pouncey, just in-case.

No. THAT N word ended with the letter "a". The BAD N word ends with the letters "er". Also I think Richard Pryor when he got back from Africa said he wasn't gonna use that word in any context anymore. But yeah those others always say it and Chris Rock also says Cracker as well. However if you are named Michael Richards it's best to not use it and ESPECIALLY in the WAY he used it. Also Chapelle got really pretty heavily criticized by blacks for his skit about the "N----- Family" which everyone I know, white AND black, thought was absolutely hilarious. A guy I used to work with was watching that when it originally aired with his roommate and some of his roomies black friends and the black guys were DYING laughing but he said he felt afraid to laugh because he didn't want to seem racist. LOL!!! I laughed about that forever because he was talking about how hard it was to NOT laugh! HA!

Yeah I've actually been saying that I would like to see some subtitles to what he is saying because it just sounds like noise to me and I thought he was kinda just acting crazy for fun in that video. I think in this vid he used it in the "acceptable" context but in the voicemail he used it in the "UNacceptable" context. It's funny how blacks and whites can joke with each other but then sometimes get irritated about stuff. One time a supervisor at work was playing fantasy with us and the draft was at my house and I live in the country where there are literally no black people. So my supervisor made a mocking joke about my county and said "will I be the only black man ever in your house?" and I made a mocking joke back and said "no dude. my butler will be there." And I was like "man do you think I live on a plantation or something? Of course you are welcome at my house." But he got really offended by that joke. But I said you asked for it by basically making a racist joke yourself and he saw what I was saying and we are still really good friends to this day and I would do anything for him.

Blount, I worked for a few months for a (at the time) very prominent rap record producer and he and his posse said the word repeatedly with the a and the er, seemingly dependent on how much they had had to drink or smoke. To me, it's just a word and people that are truly offended by a word are just looking for something to be offended by.
