How quickly Clark has slipped. His play is awful and he has lost two steps not just one. On the 81 yard TD he was in on, the WR left him. So, how long before Thomas gets the nod to take his spot? There is nothing to lose at this point, and at the least Thomas has more speed so to make up for some of his mistakes he will surely make. I do appreciate what Clark has done for this team but his best days are gone, and the film says it all

He did lay a nice shot on Gronkowski though.

Thomas looks a little confused. I noticed on a play today that he was looking back towards Gay to make sure he was in position. Maybe he can be great when he gets some experience but right now he's not truly starter material. However, neither is Clark so I would bench Clark in favor of him. I would bench Sanders in favor of Moye and Wheaton when he gets back. Sanders has NO chemistry with Ben and it's time to get Ben that big target he has always wanted. He deserves at least that for having to play behind this pathetic line for so many years and not complained when most normal people would probably have committed workplace violence by now.

Workplace violence! That's what Tomlin should call this team

Oh goody. That is all Clark has been, a hitter. He can't cover a grill. Out of all the dumb mistakes the front office has made, one bright spot is that they didn't offer a contract extension to him. Go tweet into the night Ryan. This Steeler fan will not miss you. Oh and take the overrated Ike Taylor with you...

I wouldn't stop at clark. our whole secondary, ike, troy and clark are showing their age bad. slow, can't run, and it's becoming a problem that should have been addressed long before this point.

these guys are taking up the lions share of the money with not a lot in return. I love them for what they have brought in the past, but that's just it, the past. they can't hang with the young guys anymore. as much as it pains me to say that, the realism is showing up on the field. it's also killing the pocketbook and not allowing young talent to be had.

Woodley is in the same boat for the money spent our return on investment is pretty low.

Mac, I was one who was totally against the contract that Woodley was given. And now they are stuck. And it is sucking up major cap space as you mentioned as other older vets. Always so close or over the cap, dead money helps this. Time to purge and get rid of some of the dead money. Restructuring is mortgaging the future. This is just another part of the trouble with this team. Example that they groomed a guy, then they couldn't even make him an offer to stay. Keenan Lewis. Might need a few lean years, a rebuilding. Changes need to be made.
