Curious, what sort of gameplan do you think we will see from the Steelers against the Pats?

seriously, idk, butt I just have the feeling we will win this game

I do know that the pats will stay away from troy and we should be able to run on them and might have to with the weather

Well we haven't lost yet with Father Guido Sarducci as my avatar pic.

I'm thinking we'll be pretty pass-happy and Sanders should have real productive game auditioning for his new team. ;)

Run the ball....Run the ball...than run the ball some more.....In the first half......Than passes to Brown, Sanders, Cotch, Miller off play action 2nd half.....If we can run the ball in the first half...If not just punt!!

Defensively the plan is to watch Brady drive down the field and score touchdowns.
Offensively the plan is to use wide receiver screens to drive down the field and miss field goals.

Other than that, I would say we will try and target our tight ends more, to include a catch or two by Adams.

I'm thinking Adams would make a "bunch formation" pretty hard to defend against. LOL :lolol:

I'd rather "passes to Brown, Sanders, Cotch, Miller" in the first half, run up a 21 point lead or so, then "Run the ball....Run the ball...than run the ball some more"

Works for me!! Reason i was saying run heavy first half so play action would work in second. But whatever gets us points.

Wonder if Haley is out there evesdropping on us? Let's see ...
... Wildcat, with Ben, Adams & Will Johnson out wide in a buch formation
..... backwards pass from Bell to Ben, 3 or 4 pump fakes
....... and then a deep pass from Ben back to Bell.

Hit Brady, several times, Jam the recievers becuase it will throw off the timing routes, offensively go old school, chew up the clock, best way to beat Brady is to keep him on the sidelines pouting. That being said no field goals they need TD's in the red zone to up the pressure on Brady and force him into hasty decisions

I've been watching the Pats get after the other teams qb. I think Ben is in for a long day. It's actually not the Pats o that worries me. It's their d. They've been running a lot more though and we're giving up over 5yds a carry on 1st down so I hope we can stop the run because if they have to rely on their receivers to beat us I think we can win. Those guys have been hanging Brady out to dry all year. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go all out in FA at the end of this year like they did in 07 really.

Luckily for us though the Pats have been really horrible in the red zone as well.

I watched a small portion of the Dolphins/Pats game last week and it was what 14 nothing Fins in the first half? To me that is a great start against any other team. Now with the Pats and Darth Hoodie I knew that it was only a matter of time before they flip the score and they are out ahead. WE need to hit the gas and never let up.

Yeah and sadly that's just not who we seem to be. I agree totally though. But I think the Pats are only averaging like maybe 23 or 24 points a game.

Hand the ball off to Bell 25 times and keep Brady off the field.
