looks like if he could still play we could use all the help we can get in the redzone

Pretty sure I saw him on the sideline a couple games back. If he was done I doubt he'd be hanging around.

I don't believe history is on our side in that regard. I kid, I kid.

Problem is when we get new guys they are not as good as the old guys. Lol.

Yeah, I was going to start that post "Do we have that little faith in our coaches that we can't look for a new receiver..." and then realised that I probably knew the answer.

Give him a minimum contract and let him fight it out in training camp with the others. I would like to see us get Sammy Watkins from Clemson but I think we need a LT first unless we can find one as a free agent.

If we get the same No-Line back for next year then it won't make a difference, either way.

Think we have seen the end of Plax. Got Moye and still got J Brown on the practice squad to fill in as our big WR's. Don't be surprised if they look for a big time wideout in the draft too.

I wouldn't pay him much, but depending on where this team heads in the draft, he may be worth a look in preseason. Can Wheaton and Moye step up? With this oline it is hard to tell.

i don't have a clear vision on this draft class yet , but a lot depends where we end picking
. if you are talking about the next draft class years , if you are talking about what we already done , the last was good the others a lot less
i read somewhere (don't know if is true) , that between the 42 players colbert tomlin has drafted only 11 are still in the nfl

    I do. I think in
a few years we'll look back on this draft as one of our best drafts in years. I also think the 2012 draft could prove to be a good one too.

I don't think he will be back older players tend to get injured more often. They need to find a big receiver in the draft.

I agree, I think it was the type of draft that can really bolster a club and get us headed in the right direction. Beef Jones up this offseason and I think he will live up to his nick name, Bell I'm obviously high on, Williams I think was a steal, I like Shamarko a lot, think it will go down as a great draft.

seems good enough while we need more than that for all the miss we have before (i know is difficult) , but anyway the problem is how they will develope

i'm curious to see what they will do with ben contract , could be a turning point for the future and sincerely i don't have a right answer right now

Definitely need to follow it up with another good draft (assuming the one we just had turns out to be good like I hope it does).

My feeling is that we would be better getting an athletic TE, who can be the big receiver in the red zone.

And when I say "we should get a TE", I obviously mean that we should let most of the other 23 TEs we already have go first.

As much as it pains me to say it, if Ben is back, you'll either see Plax or Cotch back at the vet minimum.

Ben will be here well past Cotchery and Plax's departure. I'd be really surprised if Plax is back. I'd be a little bit surprised if Cotchery is back next year.
