That too is related to the draft.

Yeah it is, but it is also knowing how to find some value in other players who are let go from teams, making solid FA signings for mid-level role players as well.

I remember everyone being happy with adams. he was a first rounder we got in the second is what was being said. I know I am a homer but I personally hate taking big slow lineman from the big ten. I was never sold on him. he even struggled in college against speed rushers. I am not a scout by no means but I can recognize a football player when I see one. when you look at sec teams you see nfl talent at every postiton. I would start there every year but we seem to look elsewhere. just my opinion

LOL! I remember that too. DeCastro was a plug and play stud we got in the first round when there is no way he should have been available and then we go and get Adams, a first round talent, in the second round. What luck!! Add those two to an offensive line already manned by the studly Pouncey and the promising second year guy Marcus Gilbert and our offensive line woes are settled for the next DECADE!

    YEAH RIGHT!!

Injuries, always comes back to injuries, I've never seen a team struggle with so many on the line. Both those guys missed ample time their first season, then Adams got stabbed going into this season, DD was all effed up over taking out Pouncey and just now seems to be getting through that. These guys get some slack as far as I'm concerned.

adams gets no slack. he should have been home in bed like a normal person instead of putting himself in that position.

Injuries may be part of it, but our OL problems go way beyond that, BF. Even when our guys are healthy it seems like they can't get out of their own way. Even Pouncey was starting to regress after a terrific rookie season.

its funny to watch other teams play and see their oline get alittle push. velasco does that and its like the other ones are saying what are you doing? we don't play that way.lol

I think we need to give DeCastro some credit, he seemed to be a guy who was putting it together. He had really been improving every game since the nightmare game against the Titans where he injured Pouncey. So I am not ready to write him off. I still think Adams could be an okay RT - he was doing ok there last year, but LT was just awful for him.

How do you know how much input Tomlin has on the draft? I doubt Tomlin has as much say as Cowher did.

^^^^^^ I strongly diagree with the above statement, since Tomlin has become HC our drafting has sucked. IF anything i think Tomlin has more to do with drafting players, then Bil did at this stage in there carears, TOMLIN SUCKS
