    THERE it is!

    Where is DOMAUG?

I told him in the game day thread that people would be piling on Ben for that pick in the 4th and he said no. I told him to stick around a bit.

That didn't take long. So predictable.

You shouldn't be ignorant to assume that Tomlin THINKS at all! LOL!

Is our poor defense due to the players, the def cordinator, or both?

I love Dick Lebeau but I will be glad when he retires. We might suck but we need a new scheme. People have figured it out. Brady is going to kill us next week.

I'm with you about still being upset. I was honestly getting even MORE mad when we started to move the ball because I knew it was all for nothing and I was right. I absolutely knew that we were gonna lose this game from the first play from scrimmage. I'm really gonna be mad if Haley comes back next year. I mean REALLY mad. I'm probably gonna be even MORE mad if Sanders comes back. I would also love to see Gilbert take the first train out as well. I also would love to see Foster get a seat on that bus. Man we just suck and I see no end in sight because I'm not sure the front office knows it. If they HONESTLY buy in to all that "next man up" platitude bullcrap that Tomlin spouts all the time they are as stupid as he is.

I agree that when Brady gets a look at those cushions on film he is gonna find them even more beautiful than his supermodel wife.

We've played Geno Smith, Matt Cassell, Jake Locker, Jay Cutler, Joe Flacco, and Terrelle Pryor. Do you think that kinda skews the numbers in favor of our defense? I guess I will put it this way. When we play Brady, Rodgers, and Stafford do you think our defense will look like a top 10 defense? I'm just curious if a case can be made that our defense has been made to look better by playing qb's that aren't that good.

We are also not built to go ahead either.:facepalm::facepalm: We are built like a house of cards really. We are fragile and have no depth. Any word on DeCastro and Whimper?

The ONE thing that makes me feel NOT so scared about Brady is that he can't run and mobile qb's obviously are not something we need to see. Rodgers can run and I think he's gonna make us look pretty dang foolish but they are pretty banged up. IF Brady has time though we are gonna get destroyed and I just fully expect the Pats to be ready for the game and have we ever won a game in New England?

Tomlin said they both need further evaluation and that both will likely need MRI's. Personally, I think Whimper's news is going to be bad news. That's just a guess based on watching the play. Don't have a guess about DD. If he's down for any period of time, it's bad news for sure.

When I saw Whimper laying on the field I was just like "whatever dude" because injuries just seem so common place with this team now that you almost EXPECT them or something. It's like I'm desensitized to it now and when you're so mad about watching your qb get killed all day it's hard to feel any sympathy for guys until you can calm down which I have yet to do. I didn't get to finish the game until about 30 minutes ago.

Didn't we play them last year or the year before and shut them down. That's when cordez allen play gronk and kept him in check. Then we played more man on man defense.

Don't know what you mean, but I posted in the GD thread that Ben was going to take heat for the 2 4thQ picks. Doumag said 'no.' I said to wait...and a few hours later, here it is.

The first pick was a desperation throw down by 11 pts with 1/2 quarter left. Ironically, the Steelers got a turn over a few plays later that led to the second TD. Bens pick was essentially a long punt and directly led to 8 points. Had he NOT thrown it like you suggested, the outcome would have possibly been worse.

The second pick was a flat out drop by Brown of a good pass that hit him right in the numbers. And you suggested that Ben not throwing 2 picks would have helped. Thats laughable. Ben's picks had nothing to do with this loss. In fact one of them actually helped.

Your assertion is based solely on looking at a stat line and not an analysis of what actually happened. Bengals fans used to be like that back in the Carson Palmer days of the mid 00s. Drove me nuts.

Like I said, so predictable. I could see it coming a mile away.

I becoming that way with sacks. When Ben is 'only' sacked 3 or 4 times, I thinking the Oline played a good game.

Yeah and even when he's NOT sacked he's still so rushed that there's just no way he can set his feet and make a solid throw to an open guy. We are atrocious. I mean really, really bad as an o line. Then to compound the matter Haley INSIST on trying to fun the dang football which just gets us in even more 3rd and longs and Ben just gets teed off on again.

Before smart football can be played, a smart coach has to be developing the gameplan. Just saying.

I honestly think we have some really stupid football players. We just seem dumb in certain situations. Tomlin's problem to me is his clock "management". I mean that's his absolute biggest weakness and I think he has a few but that one takes the cake for me.
