This PFT article implies that it's a possibility, though improbable now that the Steelers have had a two game "winning streak". What do you think? Given that Sanders will probably be gone after this season should we entertain trade offers for him? What about if a GM was willing to give us a second rounder? I'd say sayanora if that were the case. Are there any other Steelers who could be trade bait by Tuesday? Are there any players out there that might be available that you think the Steelers should consider trading for? I realize it's highly unlikely because these are the Steelers we're talking about, but it's fun to speculate since the trade deadline is approaching.

It's not gonna happen. If someone offered a 2nd rounder though...hell yes.

Sanders ... if we loose to the Raiders and if someone from the NFC offered them a 2nd rounder, then they trade him. Otherwise, I think they'll keep him.

I can't see them trading for anyone from another team.

Fitzgerald has a really high cap figure for 2014 maybe 18 million he isn't going anywhere without a restructured contract.

We are not going to be able to resign Sanders due to our cap situation. I think we have to shop him for a 3rd round or better pick. There are some teams that need wide receivers and get something for him now before he signs next year somewhere else. I know we don't make big splashes in the free agent market, but I think it is time to be proactive with Sanders.

They won't get much for Sanders he's a #2 receiver at best and he's going to be a free agent at the end of the season.

We're half way through the season. No one will give you much (not more than a 5th) for half a season of an average Wr who's gonna be a FA

Possibly the Packers. They are beat up in the WR position. And still alive .

I have a theory that Jack Lambert punched Florio's mother. I can't prove it, though.

Why would anyone give up more than a 5th for Sanders? I wanted us to take the 3rd for him, and we didn't. He's been very average this season. If we got anything for him I'd gladly trade him to get more time for Wheaton and Moye.

In hindsight, signing him was a mistake.
