Week 8: Official Gameday Thread Steelers vs. Raiders

I don't hate Ben even though I've been critical at times. The fact is, Ben's been out of sync this year. An elite quarterback gets his team into the endzone. An elite quarterback wins games. An elite quarterback uses his head and plays smart. An elite quarterback seems to elevate the other players on the team. I just don't think Ben has done that frequently enough.

 

He's not exactly having a season for the ages and his pissing contest with Haley really didn't help this team. I don't hate him but he's not exactly playing well and certainly not playing smart.

that play was very indicative of the Steelers' overall toughness this season. even their "marquee" wide receiver can't catch a ball that hits him right in his hands.

That Brown drop reminds me of a play in preseason where we dropped it in the end zone and Tomlin cited that play as one where 'if' it hadn't gone that way, they'd have been in the game, whatever. The problem is.....we continue to have too many plays like that where we 'almost' do something game-changing....

 

Say what you will about Ben, he isn't without some fault, but if this front office doesn't fire Haley at the end of the year, then FU front office! because Haley sucks and running WR's screens totally blows!!

This team is a embarisment, the only thing consistant with this team is how they come out unprepared/ flat time and time again... I'M curious to see how much praise Tomlin n HAYLEY get this week like they did the pst 2 weeks, I'M AFRAID ITS NOT GONA GET ANY BETTER UNTILL THESE TWO ARE FIRED,
