To be candid, no one. I expected this to be an 8-8 team that struggled and after preseason, not even that. They might surprise me going forward though.

Of course, but that doesn't make Julio himself a disappointment.

Really BSF you busting on this guy after 6 games of which he only played 3....Yet you lead us to believe he played 6?? And your complaining about his inj? I like the kid. Guys get hurt. He lost 3 games this year to INJ as many players do.93 yards last week....I will take 93 yards EVERY week from this kid!!! Give him the ball!!!!

Fair enough FanInKy. He's only played in 3 games tho, not 6. And one of them was against the best rush defense in the league. In the Vikes/Ravens game he averaged 4.25 yds per carry. He should only get better, but the current sample size is too small for me to decide on him. I was one that thought that he was gonna tear it up right away, so if he tanks the rest of the season he could be my most disappointing player when its all said and done.

These were ghostly produced when the offense was mis-firing. Bell is only going to get better as the group hits on all 8 per se. I havn't seen patience as he has since the Harris era.

You're comparing apples and oranges, what we know about a player and what we are anticipating from a player. Bens detractors know what they have in him or what they think he lacks anyway. I happen to think Ben is great and one of his supporters.

I gotta go with McClendon... As I run for shelter, and dig myself a foxhole...:o...
Not so much for his play, but for the lack of chances the coaches seem to give him...
    Just wanted to clarify...
I was expecting him to have an outstanding year, but it seems they aren`t putting him in as much as I expected, when I look at the "snap counts" after the games, I would expect him to be in more than 80% of the plays, and he`s not...
That just confuses me. I think he could push the pocket/rush the passer(even if that`s not our traditional Nosetackle role..
I dunno, I just expected him to be more of a force so far this year... maybe he will be, "going forward".
I`m not saying he has been bad, when he`s had his chances... Just expected him to play a bigger role to this point...
    GO STEELERS!!!

Maybe he's not getting as many snaps because they think he's not good enough against the run.

Coaching staff has let me down. They show up opening day(again) and get stomped. For all their off season effort they decided M Adams was ready for primetime a L tackle. If you can't recognize you are about to start the worst L Tackle in the league to cover your franchise QB's blindside you failed.

Then there is the decision not to kick the tires some on Redman in the preseason. OK maybe Adrian Peterson but Redman doesn't need the work? How'd that work out again? Cut Dwyer to only bring him back immediately?

This coaching staff has been testing my patience.

Interesting choice, hadn't thought of him but there were big expectations of him for this season.

Thats not really the question though, who were you excited about going into the season? Surely it wasn't the coaching staff that you were amped up about.

Cortez is another good choice, was hoping he'd help generate turnovers. Thats been a huge let down.

I actually think mclendon is playing pretty good. I think the way we are trying to get pressure is taking some away from the true NT play we've been accustomed to. we don't seem to be playing as much base defense as years past. the ILB'ers are playing well so somebody upfront is keeping them clean lately.

as for cortez, I can't fault him for the injuries and being a little rusty. I thought he played well last game, so maybe he's healed up now.

the first 4 games, i'm not sure too many people were playing well. the last two, it seems they have picked it up a notch on both sides of the ball.

I am pretty happy with the special teams since the season started. in preseason I was quite worried.

Coaches for not having the team ready for the start of the season. It took four games to realize that Adams was not starter-worthy, and four games to actually assemble an offensive gameplan. It seemed like they were still trying to sort out who the starters were until the bye week.

That cannot happen in the NFL. If it does, you go 0-4 and it makes reaching the playoffs next to impossible.
