is this not the ugliest thing you have ever seen? :lolol::lolol:

and his attempted frontal slide or banging down on both knees. :lolol:

my God man, practice on a slip and slide or something. zero style points there big guy.

he gets all that stuff moving in one direction eventually and it's hard to land gracefully I guess.

I love ya big guy and it helps, but that is one fuggly giddy up you got going on.:facepalm: carry on though. it just cracks me up watching it. LOL:lolol:

Agreed.....but there is something uglier....Trying to zing in a pass on 3rd and 2 when there's 10 yards of open field in front of him. Hell, I even miss quarterback sneaks when I see an empty backfield on 3rd and 1!!!!

As Tomlin has said numerous times...something about accountability...um...oh yeah....style points don't matter....and good thing or else we'd be spotting points every game

Ben has been visibly wary of running this season. Who knows why. In the Vikes game, he could have picked up more than a few first downs by running, but instead tried the pass. I genuinely think that one reason, however small, we won last night was Ben showing he could run if he wanted to.

During the game yesterday my wife actually jokingly said he runs like 'a drunken chicken or something'. :lolol: It would be fair to say he's been more graceful in the past. :roflmao:

ben needs to train better at running and read offenses (in terms of velocity )

oh I agree, i'm just talking his run itself and the landings.

elbows and legs and torso all going in different directions trying like heck to get that all up to a gallop is special to watch. then the landing. forgedda boud it. cracks me up. like someone dumped a ton of bricks. and in his mind, I know he's thinkin he looks like RG3. you go big man that's all I have to say.:lolol::applaud:

He did have the game's longest run (19 yards) yesterday, so pretty or not, he got the job done. I'll venture to say his knee surgery has limited him. But he is still faster than Leftwich

In fairness, a park bench is faster than Leftwich.

I was think of posting about this subject yesterday. And I am not so sure Ben is really faster than leftwich. I think Ben might be the slowest qb I have seen in a while. Pretty sure Peyton looks faster.

He's a big lumbering mess when he runs but he will do it if he has to and is effective.
It's the last play (code word) on his wrist pad if all else fails:

    RUN FOREST RUN !!!

I think he looks like Payton Manning when he runs, although Payton usually just falls down and assumes the fetal position.

I`m actually happy to see him attempt it again, once in a while.
Yes, it`s ugly, but he used to be pretty good at picking up 1st downs that way, when necessary.
Something I think has been missing from his game for a long time.
Keeps the D a little honest, if he at least attempts it when it`s available.
On a side note, Peyton mght be worse, but his naked bootleg against the Cryboys this year, was a thing of beauty... Even his own team didn`t know he was gonna do it...
Like he said... If ya only do it once every 15 years, it`s a great way to "break tendencies"... LOL:roflmao:

I don't care if it's ugly as long as he picks up positive yardage, it's better than him holding onto the ball too long taking a sack or fumbling.

10 years of poor OL play will
make you run like that. I am amazed that these QB'S do not know how to slide.Ben should have been running more for a long
time now, ball security, live for another day.A punt is not always bad.

He is getting slower and slower. I must of yelled run Ben run about 10 times while he was running the 19 yards. He has lost a couple of steps the past couple of years and is starting to show his age right before our eyes...;)

As long as it gets the job done... He can bear crawl for all I care. Slower than he used to be, but he's a hard nosed do'er and that's that.
