redman released

redman was released today and kion Wilson was brought up from the PS in his roster spot.

 

Not a huge surprise.

Wonder why Wilson was brought up? Just for special teams I assume?

 

Didn't see this coming, but can't say that I'm surprised either. He hasn't played(well) and 1.3 million is way too much money to be sitting around inactive on Sundays. On a related note someone better buy PWP a big box of tissues.

 

we were only 514 k in cap space , now i hope they get an injury settlement with levy brown , to save some of the 600 k we gave him , do you know if baxter were back at ps ?

 

I haven't heard about a PS player added yet.

 

TB needs one I think and Houston. he'll find a home I believe. he got injured last year early in camp and hasn't been the same.

 

A little surprising, but a little not. I figured they'd keep him just in case...seeing how they are paying him that kind of money. I guess they just said the heck with it and feel they can do fine with only 3 RBs on the team. Wonder if they tried to move him via trade or anything? Wonder if anyone will pick him up or not?

Not sure what happened to him...but this year he looked a shell of his former self. Thanks for what you did do while you were here Redman!

 

Is Alexander still on the PS? He is one injury away from being active on a Sunday, he is the only running back left behind Dwyer I believe.

 

Wow, after getting an autograph from him after the game last night as he was driving out of the stadium... I was wondering why he seemed sad, I guess he already knew what was coming

i tried to post pics but I can't from my phone, I also got autographs from Mclendon, Moye, Jarvis Jones, The Shark, Will Johnson and whoever number 10 is, not sure

 

He will be picked up by Arizona before the end of the day lol

Yeah from opening day starter to off the team. In just six games, I'd be depressed too.

 

Actually Houston released 3 players all for team violations

 

I'll hold off saying anything bad about him, Dwyer was cut and is now back running well. Could be the move is just to Wilson reps off the PS.

According to the official roster there is no #10. Must have been someone posing as a Steeler lol

Lol... Actually, my son(11yrs old) was the one getting the autographs on his terrible towel and ticket while I watched him but that one guy signed and I didn't get to see who but he had #10 next his autograph, I can't make out what it says

 

Think that they retired the number

Seriously though as much as Redman frustrated me this year I liked his style of running and he seemed like a good guy. I wish him the best wherever he lands.
