Did Brown's forth quarter cement him as a #1 reciever?

Yes but the Steelers sorely need a bonafied number 2. Im VERY happy the Steelers played Moye today (even though he dropped a TD) as he made a key 1st down catch. I'm not sure I like using Sanders in the red zone because of his limited size. If Sanders leaves after the season is over I'm at least excited about Wheaton & Moye to go with AB in the Red zone with AB.

The real question with that is, will Moye still get a hat when Wheaton comes back? I hope so. As for AB, perhaps, if he had a TD, definitely.

True but his catches when the game was on the line were clutch

No not really he needs to score more TD's.

I don't know if you all noticed this, but this TEAM doesn't score too many touchdowns... Its not just AB. I don't think for one second that this team doesn't score TD's because of some deficiency that AB has at the #1 receiver slot. He plays to his own strengths, and time and time again comes through when this team needs him to. There isn't a height/weight requirement for a #1 receiver, and just because he isn't AJ Green or Megatron doesn't mean that he isn't a legitimate #1.

Megatron has played 3 of his 6 complete seasons with 5 TD's or less btw... (having started at least 14 games in each season) Does this make him less of a #1 receiver? Or less the best receiver in the NFL?

To sum it up, yeah AB is a legit #1. He isn't the best #1 in the league... but he is pretty darn good, and perfect for this team.

Moye should of caught that pass in the corner of the end zone from Ben. That pass was perfect!

Antonio Brown is a bona fide #1 WR and has been all year. Colbert made a great decision in retaining Brown and letting Wallace walk. The guy has DESIRE.

I'm sorry that I couldn't watch the game yesterday, but 2 catches for 24 yards in the 4th quarter? Come on now, let's be real and not exaggerate this win.

AB is a solid receiver, but I'm not ready to call him a game changer. Again, for the game 6 catches, 50 yards, 0 TD's, rather pedestrian.

I don't think Browns 50 yards in receiving would get honorable mention as a 3 receiver, let alone a 1...

Ben threw the ball 23 times (17 completions) for 160 yards for the game. Its all relative. We weren't throwing often, and when we did it was never really more than 15 yards down field. Being a #1 receiver has less to do with catches and yards, and more to do with being the guy that the QB seeks out in crunch time and making the play when it matters. Brown got open and caught the two biggest pass plays of the game because of the situation they were in, not the amount of yards they covered. He has show the ability to consistently get open against the opposing team's best corners, and has produced at a high level all year long (even in a mediocre offense). That's why he's a #1, not because he puts up video game numbers.

Anyone still convinced? Brown is not worthy as a #1 go to guy. Way too inconsistent.... See Oakland game.

I'm not convinced he drops too many passes.
