a quarter way thru the season

we have played 5 games and i was talking to a guy today and he said he gives the whole team a f. he said nobody has played good and that got me to thinking about who has. for me the biggest disappointment has been the oline but there have been some positives for me. i think we have found our future mlb in Williams. jones, like i thought, is going to be great. ben has played well when he gets time and antoino has shown me that he is a #1 wr. troy is playing like troy. i was wondering what everyone thought. who is your biggest disappointment so far?

 

Biggest disappointment at this point is Mike Adams. Cortez Allen has been somewhat disappointing too although he was pretty solid yesterday. Honestly, I've been disappointed in Steve McClendon and Ziggy Hood as well. Hood was getting blown 10 yards off the line yesterday at times. Not sure what's up with him. And while I think he may end up being a great player, Jarvis Jones hasn't done a lot to get me excited at this point. It was good to see him put the hit on Smith that led to the interception though. Offensively, I'm disappointed we haven't seen a little more from Marcus Wheaton at this point. As for Bell, the jury's still out. Yesterday notwithstanding, Sanders play has been below the line too in my opinion.

As for positives, AB has been solid although I think he'd be better served as a 1(a) type receiver rather than a true number one. I've been very pleased with the play of Fernando Velasco and think he's been our offensive MVP so far, at least honorable mention after Brown.

 

with the age of a lot of guys, I can't say i'm disappointed in any one guy per say, but adams somewhat. he has been through a tough time right before camp and his technique is way out of whack. he needs some strength added and some baby fat turned into muscle. he's young though but was a 2nd rounder.

gilbert too. he's still young but he's a 3rd year 2nd rounder. they were going to start him at LT at first and now when we need help there, he's not even in the running. that should say something. I will have to say, he's been getting a little , little, better each week in some aspects. still not up to his draft status and years starting, even with missing most of last year. he's still got 26 starts.

I think i'm more disappointed in how we are using will Johnson. bell runs better when he's the lead blocker. they are not using him in the passing game much either. I had heard about how much more he would be used this year. he's a big weapon that can do a lot of things.
