Comparing those two QBs to anyone relevant makes you once again a moron dude, Jones is worthless, he is sitting as a 3rd stringer, not the future of the team... Good Lord, you must really be an idiot to believe Landry Jones is going to be the future of thia team. Also, aren't you suggesting draft Bridgewater? So theeeen in that case, TWO QBs of the future, sitting behind Ben, just collecting the paychecks....Smart guy, you are!

I like the SEC QBs mire too, I would rather have Murray than Aj, but both over Bridgewater. Good post.

If you are so damn smart, how about finding any post of mine where I ever said I wanted to draft either Bridgewater or Landy Jones? When you can't, you might want to consider shutting your loud mouth yapper.

Alright, let's move along. There's an 'ignore user' feature on the forum...it works wonders.

    LOL! :roflmao:

I don't envy you at all, TTF. You kind of remind me of myself trying to keep my sons from tearing into each other.

If for some reason we are in a position to draft bridge water, that jones pick sure would have proved worthless...

Not necessarily. No guarantee college success translates into NFL success. No guarantee Jones doesn't step up in camp and show something special.

While still perhaps a little high, Jones was a pick that needed to be made.

And exactly what great tough teams did Ben face in his college career? Mcarron does not look that great, the Alabama team around him is excellent. Tebow had a great winning college career in the SEC too.

how do you know jones is going to be worthless? because of one preseason game his rookie year? ben don't have a lot of years left, so calling anyone a moron and idiot with your point of view is laughable.

Personally, after watching some (not all) of the game last night, I don't see anything that makes me go, WOW! What a player. I don't see the #1 overall being a smart pick for us with him. I would rather take the LT based on what I saw last night.

My thought is if we are sitting with a top 5 pick or higher it is good that it be known we were looking at him. That way even if we have no intentions of drafting him a team might feel that pressure of getting that can't miss QB and trade up to get him. Personally I want Jake Matthews out of Texas A&M if we end up with a high pick. Or I want them to trade it for multiple picks. I don't want Bridgewater. I would rather have Mariotta from Oregon if we are going to go the spread option route.
