They have a stout defence and can stop the run
and geno will create match up problems for our aging def
although geno turns over the ball a lot but not against our defense

I agree. IF we win this game it will be a dog fight. I don't expect us to get a turnover though. Geno also has a big arm and I expect them to hit us deep as well since we can't generate any pressure up front.

I don't think anyone will be easy and I don't see how anyone can think that it will be. I think we are gonna start winning games but they will be dogfights

This season is trending towards a nothing is easy season. Powerhouses floundering, doormats making headlines. I know in the Burgh we been making irrelevants all stars for a while now, but teams have gotten better and we ain't, numbers/record wise. Throw out Lebeaus rookie QB ownership and that's that.

Dog fight for sure... Hope we smash em!

    GO STEELERS!

Funny though... Atlanta is at this point, my WTF team! I really thought they were gonna wreck house! Still early (as is with our boys) but I'm really surprised.

I'm counting on DL's record dealing with rookie QB's to continue but yeah, Jets are looking pretty good against Atlanta.

But this defence isn't the typical defence that DL has had over the years. That's why I don't like even taking things like that into consideration. DL usually had top defences that got to the QB and forced turnovers. We can't do either right now.

I can't remember the last easy win this team had. Not sure why this weekend would be any different.

He has a superior record against rookies because they aren't familiar with his schemes and over all just not good at reading defenses yet.

On the contrary....at this point, you have to wonder if the Jets have already put next week's game in the 'W' column....

Doesn't matter, we can't get to the QB or force turnovers, I don't care how exotic our scheme looks, we don't confuse anybody. If we can't confuse or disrupt Matt Cassell, we can't confuse anyone. Cassell is awful.

How's an actual bump n run D look, as far as exotic goes?!?! Lebeau would only add to his legacy by breaking that one out!

Hope Ben can get rid of the ball quickly or we're looking at 6 or more sacks.

The last time the Steelers won decisively was 27-0 over the Rams back in December 2011. There will be no easy win for this year's team when they finally get one.

the last rookie they faced beat them when they lost to the Browns last year.

this is not the defense we are used to and i dont think they confuse anyone anymore including rookies.

when the qb has all day to survey the field its tough to get confused.

if Geno stays clean next week its gonna be a tough game.

i do think the Steelers offense is finding itself, but the defense is what it is. old, slow and predictable.

Yeah, the game where they turned it over 8 times but lets blame the defense for that too.

Geno threw 5 picks last week, rookies make mistakes and tend to have trouble with DL.

If you have Sunday ticket you will see that a lot of teams look like the Steelers, unfortunately we aren't getting any breaks and turning the ball over way too much.

Even the worst teams in the league get sacks. We can't even sniff a QB. While we do play pretty good in some aspects, we are by far the worst in the league for rushing the QB.

We don't force turnovers and we don't get sacks. Without pressure, Geno won't make mistakes, and even if he does, we won't catch the ball anyway. You're living in the past. Rookie's have had trouble with DL defences over the years because DL has had ferocious D's that rush the QB and force turnovers. That's not the case this year. You can't compare past years with this year, unless you want to compare last year, only then is it apples to apples
