Haven't noticed him on the sidelines, is he traveling with the team?

I don't expect him to be on the sidelines this season he will be rehabbing the rest of the season.

Pouncey should be gone. Not a popular opinion around here and though his latest injury is not his fault its time to move on. You should NOT have to pay for product if its not producing.. Just sayin

Difficult to assess if its time to move on when he's off the field with an injury that wasn't his fault.

Dang, does everything always have to turn into something negative?
Just wondering what he was up to, if he was still traveling with the team or still going to meetings and such.

His performance has declined, not improved lately too. I hardly think a year on the couch will help. Not saying we need to get rid of him, but the guy isn't the super star he was once hyped up to be.

His rookie year is when the injury bug began...went down in the AFC Championship game agains the Jets and missed the Super Bowl.

I believe a player fell on his leg his rookie year. Pouncey had bad luck injury wise.

Pouncy was over hyped from the start. If you listened to the media you would of thought we had another Mike Webster for the next 15 years. Since after his rookie year he has been average as a lineman. Its pretty obvious now that he is injury prone , (whether its his fault or not) and will never be the player he once was. Another draft pick down the tubes.

I honestly don't believe we should get rid of him if he returns fully healthy. I agree he is not the superstar they hype him up to be and his play hasn't be above average but look at the cartoon crew he has around him.

I do believe he is a worthy center and could be above average and give our line some stability. But he needs some help. Gilbert, Adams, Foster and DeCastro leaves alot to be desire. It seems DeCastro is coming around but I'm not going to give him the Outland Trophy yet.

This. An o-line is only as good as it's weakest guy. Pouncey's rookie year had him on a line that, while not great, was at least seasoned. His talent showed. It allowed him to perform well enough to win all those accolades that people now seem resentful that he got.

While I'm not saying the o-line hasn't been awful at times, people seem to forget - or not care - that a) this is a young line, and b) this is not a game of Madden. They have to be given time to get their feet. I'm as frustrated as the rest of us that it's taking so long, but that's the risk you take when you go with such a young line.

It's the supporting cast that sucks, not Pouncy, it's like he has to make up for the bums playing beside him, he can't take on 3 guys at once, get some guys beside him and we'll see the old Pouncy back. His partners are geting pushed back into him that's where he's loosing his balance, then it looks like he's getting pushed around.

I would have believed that before he went down, but Velasco has outperformed him to this point IMO

If this were true i would expect Velasco to be pushed around and injured as well but nope he is doing a very good job anchoring the line
