Cleveland Pinks

    Okay, guys, let me preface this by saying that I support trying to find a cure for breast cancer. My family has been touched by this terrible disease and I'd like to see it eradicated. I don't even mind a splash of pink here and there on the players uniforms or whatever. But these PINK PENALTY FLAGS that the refs ate throwing tonight in the Browns-Bills game is just too much. All of this pink is getting out of hand. Why not just make every team wear pink uniforms the entire month of October? Enough pink already!

    I hear ya. It confused the crap out of me for a couple seconds during the PI call in the endzone. I don't remember penalty flags being pink in the past.

    They haven't been. They've ALWAYS been yellow. I believe in showing support for a cause, but come on!

    Confused the heck out of me too, I was like why is the ref throwing a challenge flag :lolol:

    I don't have a problem with the pink, its only for a short time anyway and obviously a great cause.

    But where does it stop? Is Goodell going to start making teams integrate PINK into their uniforms? Can you imagine the Steelers in Black and PINK???

    The NFL should at least make the cheerleaders go topless so everyone can see why awareness month is so important.

    I don't think anyone is upset about it. It's a great cause of course. Just a little confusing to see penalty flags so closely resembling challenge flags. Pink uniforms, pink helmets, pink football...I could care less. Raising awareness and raising money for breast cancer is awesome.

    Don't know if you're aware, but it is possible to support a cure for breast cancer without supporting pink penalty flags.
