If they need the Browns being in first place as motivation, they have bigger problems than we know.

What more motivation do they need other than the check they receive every month??

Sometimes a big shake up can light a fire under the other guys...IMO they traded away their best player and started playing as a unit at that point...

Yeah, just shocking how the Browns have turned it around since trading their best player. I thought Indy won the trade bigtime. Now, I am not so sure. Lombardi may yet come out looking good on that one.

All during training camp and preseason, all you heard was how po'd they were about missing the playoffs last yr and how motivated they were to change that.

Never would of thought so soon after winning our 6th super bowl that we would be in last place in the division and 0-4 at that.

The Browns lost Hoyer last night to a badly sprained knee. Wheeden did OK but with him as the starter again the Browns O could struggle. I was thinking the same thing last night though. Who turned the clock back to 1989???

I'm giving Pitts 1 last shot to make it,,they still have 2 games to play against the rats and clowns,,1 left with the bungees..they can still catch up.. if some 6-0 start teams of the past can't make the playoffs ,,then an 0-4 should still have a shot

    go 0-5 and they're done

I hope they make the bye week just that, bye to the first quarter of the season.

we have made some changes to this line that needed to be done.

we have gotten heath back and he should be healthier every week(I hope).

we have a legit RB in the game now. all these things should help this offense that wasn't that far off.

we have cortez back and William gay in the spot they brought him in for. I believe allen had some rust on him and 2 weeks will get him right before the next game.

my biggest concern is the play of our ilb'ers. there is no consistency from Timmons. he's getting out of position and can't get to the ball for some reason. i'm not completely sold on Williams yet but he's young. I do think Wilson is the better tackler, but there is still something missing from this group. is Timmons trying to do to much to cover the young guys and making it worse?

At best, I could see us going 7-9 with wins against:
Jets, Oakland, Buffalo, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincy, Cleveland

    Losses to:
Baltimore, New Eng, Balt, Miami, GB
