The rams Oline is probably just as bad as ours, so if they're releasing starks, that means we want nothing to do with him. Let Adams or Gilbert stay at LT and let them sink or swim. Starks isn't the answer, so we really need either Adams or Gilbert to figure it out

I think this would be a good move as a back up or maybe to light a fire under these guys. Either way I'm ok with it.

He's too slow for our "zone" blocking. I would take him though that's Bens boy and maybe would calm him down some.

Yeah but they aren't strictly a zone scheme, they said they have planned to use both. I'm not sure if they should or shouldn't but we're real thin, could use some depth.

There's no downside to signing Starks. None!

Let's see, Steelers released him, Rams released him, even the Chokers didn't want him. I say no. We already have linemen who can't block and get false star and holding penalties.

What's the deal with the retreads? Plax, Gay...and now Starks...no thanks. Next thing ya know, we bring back Mendy. Nothing is going to help this team this year. Play the young 'uns. Get some experience. Rebuild through the draft...and free agency...wait...the Rooneys don't do free agency...never mind.

Starks did a very good job protecting Ben's blindside last year. He may be finished though.

It's funny. Max is only 31 years old. Before I looked it up I thought he was in his late 30's.

I may kick the tires on him. So what about his fit - or lack thereof - for our ZBS. We need someone who can protect Ben, and Starks is better at doing that than the guys we have now.

What could we lose by signing him? If anything its a veteran presense for the young guys.

    I agree.
I see no downside to bringing him back, if he`s willing.
Never really understood all the hate for him here.
Ben loves him, and he should know better than anyone, who gets the job done, and who doesn`t.
I have a feeling we won`t do it, more out of stubborness to admit we were wrong, than anything, tho...
They might even use the excuse of needing to develop their young guys, but at what cost???
    Their 100 million dollar qb???
He`s saved our bacon before, and I find it REALLY hard to believe he is worse than we are starting, now...
    GO STEELERS!
