Oh I agree. I was just being rhetorical. It used to be that if you were gonna be a household name you had to invent electricity or invent a combustible engine or invent a great character that brings joy to millions of people. Now you just have to be willing to expose yourself or make a complete fool of yourself on MTV or youtube and you can be "famous". There are very few household names anymore that are actual innovators. The majority of household names today are just morons. BUT as long as people keep watching people will keep doing dumb things. Supply and demand. America wants MORE Kardashian and LESS Thomas Edison. That's just how it is.
