Also agree and having fun, I would say 1-15 as our backups are not any better than Woodley and Timmons.

Honestly, I don't think Woodley and Timmons are our problems on D. In part, we don't have playmakers with our current scheme. 28 got abused today. Troy was playing LB instead of Safety on the big plays. Two changes I would make are keeping Troy back on more plays(maybe more int oppotunities) and tightening up on 3rd and short.

He did. And I had such high hopes for him. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

i have to agree. timmons cost a couple of those TD's getting out of position and then not getting off of blocks this is a reoccuring theme with him this year and in other years.

i've said for awhile, colbert needs to go. two tackles from college programss with running qb's. then we need them to become pass protecting tackles in a pro set system.

another guard re-signed again that was a right tackle and didn't have the footwork for being a LT, nor much of a RT in college so we make him a guard, then try to team him with smaller faster linemen and a mobile scheme.

beachum had the feet to start at LT for 3 years. he has the brains and skills to play any position, and these later picks are usually picked by the scouts mostly. they usually get there way for these later guys in a position of need. maybe not they're way but GMs give them more say so with late guys. so someone did a good job of finding him. i thought i heard bruener at one time was the one. now we have colberts kid as a scout.

ron hughes taught colbert at detroit. colbert brought him here. was detroit ever good at drafting? why did we pick this combo to head our football operations? now colberts son.

colbert was a yes man for cowher to have more say, and i've said it before, colbert and tomlin picking are nowhere near as good as cowher picking and colbert agreeing.

the only thing cowher couldn't pick were qb's. most of that was because he didn't care for that position and was stubbourn. he liked defense and o-linemen occasionally. when he did they were usually good. colbert doesn't have that help anymore.

we need to find out what direction we want to go and start fresh. our scouting department needs upgrading as does the GM. he built what you see on the field, and lost what you don't. he's incharge. the buck starts and stops with him. thats the job the rooney's entrusted in him. there is no direction or match of players for a direction. that's kevin colberts department.

I didn't get to see the game today due to my job. Does anyone think arriving later in the week was an issue today? Did the team seem jet lagged?

Jetlag had nothing to do with it missed tackles by the defense giving up big plays and a porous O-line.

Someone is going to go at the end of the season,Unfortunatley I would like to see a clean sweep.
Player evaluation is lacking Someone is going to be held responsible for these whiffs.I think we will find out who
the bigger ass kisser is.Can we revisit the philosophy of who
    and how players are extended?
    Did we make correct choice's
on extending players to some large contracts? Are the Steelers wrong in believing they should be getting more bang for their buck? I am not being fecetious, I just want to revisit how we got down this road!

A lot of this teams demise has to be on the coaching staff and front office. Look at New England. Brady basically lost all his key weapons on offense yet the patriots hasn't lost a beat. You can say what you want about Belencheat, but that man knows how to coach a football team. I don't really know who is at fault for this pathetic team but there are individuals on this football team imitating good football players and making alot of money.
Bellencheat would of got rid of these bums a long time ago, put someone in there place making a lot less money, and achieving the same if not better results. We are going to be the joke of the league for the foreseeable future with no relief in site. Get used to it. AS I have said before, Woodley is worthless as tits on a bull.
