Bright side.... There's no way we lose next week! :lolol:

Seriously, I really think losing like we have will pay off for us in the end. I'm not saying blow the team up, But diffentley make key changes. I want a high draft pick. Can't win every year.We will be back. Were young for the most part and we do have players we can build around. No matter what... I ride or die with them.

Maybe the players and coaches should do some soul searching. I know we can't win every year and every game but the lack of discipline this year is unbelievable. The talent is there the results are not period

The offense moved the ball, consuming the clock, and yet the defense gave up a ton of yards, points, and big plays. To win, they need a total team effort. Right now, there are very few bright spots. I did like seeing Wheaton during the first 3 quarters, then be replaced by Cotchery in the 4th. This gives Wheaton playing time, the only way to get better.

Does anyone think there will be changes to the team between now and our next game. We have almost 2 weeks before our next game. I don't think there will be changes outside personnel due to injury but if the front office thinks differently this would be the time to make them.

    A couple of thoughts
    - Looking at who is out there to acquire a offensive linemen that is out of work
    - Looking at the QB backup position, depending on Ben's knee maybe throwing Laundry Jones or Gradkowski into a start to see what they have
    - Trading a big name starter on defense for draft picks or an offensive linemen
    - Bringing in a new punter
    - Replacing starters on defense with staff on the team
    - Calling back an x player like Casey, Starks, or other

Well, we need to shake the trees on this roster and see what we have. We shouldn't see the same starters after two weeks. I has to be some lineup changes. It makes no sense to send the same 11 players on offense and defense and expect a different result.

Adams should be the first change. He is not a Left Tackle. And the person who picked him should be looking for a job.

I don't understand why people want us to play for draft picks. Is it not obvious that we really can't even do THAT good anymore? Adams, Gilbert, Ta'Amu, Rainey, and I don't even remember how many more that we've whiffed on lately. Hopefully we had a good draft this year but I don't know if that's enough to atone or compensate for the crappy drafts we've had. Heyward doesn't look like a number one at all. Sure he's batted down a few passes but that's about it.

The problem is we don't have the money to get a good one and we don't have a replacement on the roster. It's just a huge mess from tip to tail.

They have a few low money players that they could move for draft picks or even similar contract players, such as Sanders/Hood/Heyward/Cotch/Worilds/Allen....and even Pouncey (although he is hurt). We can't do anything with the mammoth contracts because the remaining bonuses it would still go on the books next year.

I'm to the point that I say get them out of here and just take the hit. I would rather them hurt us financially as opposed to getting guys hurt physically. I would rather lose with guys that have heart than with guys that don't. They are just a bunch of bums. Sanders should be benched next week in favor of Moye and Wheaton just for giving up on the INT ALONE! That kind of undisciplined play makes me sick. The Rooney's should just instruct Tomlin to bench Ben and get a new guy each week from a practice squad to save him from playing behind this sorry excuse for a line. Let them kill somebody else. Ben is too important.
