I agree, Ben was the only reason this game was close. Sure, he made critical mistakes at the worst times, but when the defense knows your going to throw near EVERY down, they're going to sell out often with varying blitz packages. Ben at least gave us a chance. without him, we'd have lost 27-3

DO you watch the game or do you just hate Ben?

While Ben wasn't perfect...he did help keep them in the game by getting the ball to the WRs/etc and moving down field. While those 2 TO's by him were costly...the D couldnt stop crap and let 2 big plays go by...missed tackles/etc. Take those away...Steelers win.

Yes. Putting on my mod hat for a second...

Tempers are flaring and we're all upset about the state of our team. And everyone has the right to disagree. But do it as gentlemen. No name calling or insulting.

Remember the old adage: The first person to use an insult has already admitted defeat in the argument.

Why is Moye not being used? I think he'd of been perfect for today.

Once again, Manny is a wasted roster spot. NE can have him or any other team. He shows little if any effort or desire.

The D looked exhausted from beginning to end. Worst I've ever seen them.

Bell was great. Keep in mind this was really his first time in the NFL.

Did the league outlaw YAC for Steeler receivers and I didn't get the memo? Why are they acting like QBs going down before they're tackled?

Don't get on Roethlisberger, if he actually has someone to throw to and he has slightly more than a millisecond, we're there. Without Roethlisberger, why this team isn't even mediocre.

Lay off Ben! His receiver quit the inside rout (turnover 1), his line continues to fold after damn near getting his Hand broke... Turnover 2. He played his ass off... D took the day off today! Some people talking of trades and stuff already? Tough, tough game...

This is a TEAM loss, the offense stinks and so does the defense. The offense giving the ball away doesn't help but the defense can't stop anyone, they make mediocre back ups look like HOF passers and stopping the run, well that is another joke. Next season will be time to get rid of the dead weight like Ziggy Hook and Ramone Foster. I knew it was going to be ad as soon as the first snap came a Ben had a defender on him, how the heck are we supposed to have any running attack with that kind of blocking. We are worse than the Browns, OMG....

Ben has to protect the ball, period. But when a player starts pressing trying to make something happen like Ben is right now mistakes are bound to happen.

Exactly. On the same note...spamming every thread with the same regurgitated complaint today isn't helping matters. Say your peace and move on.

We lost again and we laid 27 pts on the board and were going in for a score in the final seconds. The problem is not the QB.

    Get it?

That's why I disagree with taking the ball in the second half and putting our D on the field first. Right off the bat we give up 3 points and was behind ever since. We don't have a Offensive that can play from behind or a D that can stop anyone.

I've been screaming for Ziggy Hood to take the first bus outta Pittsburgh for years now.

Foster is the only reliable player we have on this OL right now, sad to say but an undrafted rookie free agent has played better than the 1st and 2nd round picks across that line. That's not saying much I know but still.

Ben, we all love the guy but good God he's a turnover machine this year.

I heap a lot of the blame on the D. They couldn't stop anyone and didn't force any turnovers... again.

I agree about Moye. Why not 2 red zone threats.

The reason why they go down is because last year they would fumble the ball.

Did we choose the wrong receiver in Wheaton? Looks like Corderelle Patteron and Keenan Allen (Cal) would have been better choices.

This has to be the worst offensive line in football. Mike Adams and Marcus Gilbert has to be the worst starting tackles in the league.

    A total disgrace.

Brilliant! You have to have points on the board to begin with for it to even matter or 7 means nothing. LOL

The interception was Sanders fault for not completing the route. Bet you hear him say so too. We'll see if I'm right about it. Regardless, name me a QB that doesn't throw an interception when posting 300/400 plus yrds on the field?

You said it, he took 3 sacks in one drive and you're blaming his pump faking?

True so far, but they"ll come if he keeps putting it up there.
He has been on thus far.

And even Manning has thrown interceptions and will do so again.
