L.C Greenwood has died from natural causes at the age of 67. Raise a glass for the Steeler legend. Mean Joe is the only living member of that original front Steel Curtain.

This passing is especially painful due to the injustice of his not getting his due while alive. He should have been inducted into the HoF long ago.

Great player. Good man. My condolences to his friends and family.

Deserves to be in the HOF. Maybe posthumously but would've been nice while he was alive.

Agreed. This news breaks my heart. He was one of my personal favorites and rest assured, he kicked Roger Staubach's ass on multiple occasions.

September 29, 2013. The Steelers go 0-4 for the first time in 45 years, and L.C. passes away.

I can think of few darker days in Steelers history than this one, my friends.

R.I.P. and wear your gold shoes to heaven.

I didn't know that Mean Joe was the last guy left. I grew up watching the STEEL CURTAIN.

    RIP L.C.

You should have been able to give your own H.O.F. speech but when you are finally enshrined Steelers Nation will raise a big toast to the occasion.

R.I.P. L.C. Greenwood. A great player who really never got his deserved recognition. I hope he gets in the Hall of Fame. Sad times for us Steeler fans.

Thank you for the picture JA45, it feels like somebody just kicked me in the stomach,All our old heroes are going. This hurts tremendously as with Dwight White, Arrowhead Holmes
I can still see Hollywood Bags crashing down to get that QB.
