Seahawks CBs mugged 49ers WRs

    Did people watch the game last night? the Seahawks CBs literally mugged the 49ers WRs at the line of scrimmage. 49ers WRs could not get past the line of scrimmage for 2/3 seconds. why can't our DBs play more aggressive instead of 10yards off the line of scrimmage. outstanding performance by Shehawks DBs.

    Seahawks have a great defense, they also bring pressure on the QB, I like our defense but that's the difference between good and great. Seahawks shut down an explosive 49er's offense. We need to elevate our game A LOT to compete with that.

    When I watch their defence, it reminds me of the team we used to be. I want that team back. I want teams to literally fear our defence. We may limit points, but we don't scare anybody, not anymore. I'm so incredibly jealous of that defence. More than anything in life, i want the Steelers to play defence like they used to, like the Seahawks currently do. I want to score points, but I'll gladly settle for a 3-0 win if it means our defence plays like we did in 2008

    The Ravens did exactly the same to us last season.

    And when we tried it on them... flags littered the field.

    Some teams can do it, most can't. We're in the latter camp at the moment. Chronic underinvestment in DBs plus overinvestment in a d-line which lacks pressure keeps us there.

    There you go, I made it Steeler related.
