beachum question

if we now have two center/guard capable guys velasco and Wallace, what is keeping us now from playing beachum at tackle?

 

shouldn't we have the best starting 5 on the field?

 

They probably will only start Beachum if there is a injury he's the top backup at all positions. Beachum also plays tight end because Paulson can't block.

 

the starting 5 are so bad, we have to start 6 incl Beachum at TE

 

Beachum is our back-up Center, Tackle, Guard, Long Snapper, Fullback and TE.
Should just remove #s from his jersey or use interchangeable Velcro ones.

 

I know he plays all those positions.

they kept him as the 6th man because whimper would have been next up and beachum was the only center backup.

beachum was really the only backup at the time, I understand that, but now we have two interior guys that can handle what whimper couldn't.

now that we have two interior guys why not play beachum at tackle as a starter and put gilbert on the bench as the swing tackle taking away a lot of the need of beachum at TE. he was there to help gilbert mostly. why not eliminate that and now start beachum? it still gives us an interior guard/center in Wallace and a backup swing tackle in gilbert. it also gets a better tackle on the field.

 

Paulson's horrible! He might as well be a 5'6" receiver for all he blocks.
