This is absolutely ridiculous. You can spout off whatever nonsense you want, here's the reality of the situation, you are questioning the fandom of many of us on this site. You're basically saying that if we don't predict a 16-0 season then you're a bigger fan than we are. You'll deny that, but it's what you're implying and it's clear as day.

It's stupid to pick the Steelers to win just because I'm a Steelers fan. It makes absolutely no sense. What the hell is the point of even making a prediction if you're not going to make a realistic prediction? I cheer for the Steelers just as hard as you do and don't think for a second I don't, but I also realize that the Steelers aren't going to win every game. I'm not going to predict a Steelers win just because I'm a Steelers fan. I'm going to base my predictions on logic and reality and pick the team I actually believe will win the game, not the team I want to win the game. It's two separate things altogether.

You say you're not questioning our fandom, but you did, period. If I wasn't as big of a fan as anyone else on this board I wouldn't be so god damn pissed off when they lose and so pissed off by this thread.

Blast Furnace, If you feel this way then maybe you should talk with bigsteelersfaninky about changing the title of his thread to read ”How many Points will the Steelers beat the Opposing Team By", and to also change up the rules for his scoring system. Personally I think it's just a game when predicting the score and I think your taking it too serious. I predicted for the Steelers to lose and so did many others but just like you stated, we are all hoping they win. If we all predicted for the Steelers to win, there would be no need for bigsteelerfaninky to take points unless he changed the rules because honestly I didn't see us going undefeated. During the game, the prediction thread is the last thing that's on my mind. I agree with about 98% of your post but I think your taking this prediction thread a bit too serious.
