Just somethin I came across tonight, to remind me, the players come and go...
But, as long as they all play for the same goal,
the Black and Gold are ALWAYS a force to be reckoned with....
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rJmVz95OSM
Sure, I will miss Hines, and the Bus, and Bradshaw, Blier, Franco, Harrison, etc...'
But, as long as they remember what came before them, and the chance they ALWAYS have, AT A LOMBARDI TROPHY...
    We always GOT A CHANCE...
Don`t count us out so soon...
There is a lotta pride, and tradition, in this team...
And, I keep tellin myself, the younginz will figure that out!!!
    GO STEELERS!!!:herewego!:
    BRING ON THE bUNGLES...
Monday nite! We will show them, why we own this division, and Monday nite football!!!:herewego::steelflag:

    Chills, Bleedsteel, chills.:herewego!:

This current group, especially the young guys, ought to be required to watch that video in the locker room before every game! Man, that brought back a lot of great memories. I personally watched about every one of those plays from the mid 70s on.

I hope this current group channels some of the heart of the men before them. Great video, thanks Bleed!

No team will ever touch that 70's team but JH pick 6 and Ben to Holmes are two of the best SB plays I have ever seen. I can watch highlights of the 70's team all day long though, nobody better than that.

You know what I liked about that video? It seemed to me most of those bone-crunching hits by the defense in the 70's were legal, and how the receivers jumped up and fought to catch the ball. Inspiring stuff.

I was just going to post what you already posted, Acorn. Have to just love those leaps to grab the ball No wonder they had so many surprise interceptions back then. I was also stunned to see again how those receivers came DOWN from those leaps. Maybe it was Swann's ballet-lesson influence, but those 70's receivers knew how to come down safely, still holding the ball.

Is what we miss on this Offense that go get the ball type of WR. dId you watch that effort by Boldin last week he simply went off,,,we need a strong handed gifted WR.Are best version is Heath and we need him back ASAP.

Watching that video brought back memories of what a great arm Bradshaw had, he could get rid of that ball with just a flick of the wrist..... I noticed in the first part of that video in a game against Cleveland, the Steelers had cheerleaders along the sidelines, yeah that brought back great memories of years gone by.

People dont seem to believe when we are at our worst, we are the most dangerous. Everytime we have built a super bowl team, it started with a bunch of no name, nothing to lose players. Too much pride and expectation of being a Steeler. When the right guys come along and trust me they will, they ll know they have a legacy to continue.

The Rooneys have never bought a team. They always build one. You can buy players, you can buy talent, but you cant buy a team and you cant buy heart.

I know the skies are black and cloudy but we will be back.

Dang Franco could run. Man that brought back memories. :yeehaw::herewego::herewego!:
