Who would we get to replace Tomlin?

    I agree not Horton. Steelers West loves our guys and I think it says something that they sent him packing. Myself, I'd love to see us go with a proven college HC rather than an NFL OC/DC.

    If we'd ever come to the point of needing a new head coach (some would say now lol) I don't think Chin would give it a second thought. Do you really think Bill wants to leave his career at the door step as a sports analyst i don't think so but rather being remembered for saving a Nation... the Pittsburgh Steelers! I believe he would come back with vengeance he knows the issues he knows the system and let him pick-bring in a new O coordinator and clean this mess and move toward another championship!

    Why Tunch? I love Tunch, don't get me wrong, but I don't think making a guy who's never coached your head coach is a prudent move. I'd be down with him as the next O-line coach, though.

    Amazes me all the Mike Tomlin hate here. A Who would we get to replace Tomlin thread? After one loss. He is regarded around the league and through the media as a top level coach. I believe he is.
    Maybe because he is Black? What a shame it would be if that's the true reason. What a shame that he will be here a long time. Stability. Ownership. Head Coach.

    Fans in general can be very irrational, some think firing a coach is always the answer, no matter what proof suggest otherwise. You're talking about fans who turned on Noll too, if he's not safe no one is. Of course the fire Tomlin base is 100% wrong but you'll never convince them of that.

    (and before anyone says it, I'm not suggesting that everyone who participated in this thread is the "fire the coach" type).

    I think they should replace Tomlin with Mr.T. Just think of the sayings he'd have at his press conferences.

    I personally think this would be the way to go, plus it would piss off the Philly fans!

    First of all I love bologna so I guess I'm a nobody:smiley1:. What I don't like is the Baloney we are seeing out on the field. I don't care what it takes to fix it,just fix it. If it means a temper tantrum ,a good ole fashioned tongue lashing or even having a few heads roll somehow solve the problem. Heck. I Don't even care if we have to "remove the restraints" from Hell itself...........wait never mind we already tried that. Just get-er done.
