Was the 3-0 MNF monsoon game vs Miami in Nov 2007

The last time before that was the meaningless home closer vs Balt on Christmas Eve '06

At least there was already a built in excuse for that debacle.

Yesterday it all fell apart with the fumble then injuries.

I'm old enough to remember the 51-0 Browns home opener in '89. These types of games stink but they happen once in a while.

We lost the next game to the Bengals 41-10. that was the year we drafted TE Eric Green and he held out to week 5. Coincidentally (or not), we didn't score a TD in the first 4 games. Now that was a rough September

Too funny. That's what I remember most.
What's ridiculous is that they played that game in those conditions and now just few years later they delayed the start of the Thursday Night game at Denver over a forecasted thunderstorm which radar showed as being lightning strikes over in Vail which is >100 miles away. Collinsworth and Al Michaels tried to fill dead air for a half hour while pretty much rolling their eyes the whole time.

Tom Moore was the coordinator then. Looking at the stats, 10 TD passes all year, no runner with even 800 yards... It's amazing that team got to the playoffs.

Defense wins championships... (or gets you to the play-offs, in this case)
