Steelers Predict the Score Game Week 2 Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati

    Welcome to 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] edition of thesteelersfans.com Steelers Predict the Score Game RESULTS.



    Follow the rules below and make your prediction. I'll publish the results after the game in a post on this thread. There will be 2 ways to win (a weekly winner and a yearly winner).
    This weeks Game is:

    Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati

    This week's tiebreaker is Steelers Rushing Yards.

    The rules are simple. Whoever predicts the correct winner with the score closest to the actual score wins. For example if the score is Pittsburgh 28 Cincinnati 21 The method of determining your score is to take the value of the difference of your guess of the Pittsburgh score and the value of the difference of your guess of the opponent score. You also must pick the correct winner to make your pick valid. In case of a tie, the tiebreaker is used.
    For example if TTFs prediction is 35-21 Steelers he would be 7 points from the actual score…..35-28=7 21-21=0 7+0=7.
    If Ray Ds prediction is 30-18 Steelers he would be 5 points from the score and he would beat TTF………30-28=2 21-18=3 2+3=5. If either had picker the Bengals they would have automatically lost due to the fact that they were not the winning team.


    I will be awarding points for the first 10 places and including a bonus of 3 additional points for making a perfect prediction. I will track cumulative point totals and the number of times you make the top 10. This contest will end after the steelers last game of the season.

    The deadline to make your picks is 1 minute before the scheduled start time.

    I actually did in my football pool but because I didn't think theyd cover the spread, not because I thought theyd lose. Usually any time I do that they burn me though, not this time unfortunately :facepalm:

    Ok. Big time edit here. After seeing some of the teams this week, I am reminded of Joe Paterno's old line: "You're never as good as you look in a win. And you're never as bad as you look in a loss. "


    Things still don't seem so hot for us. But I am amending my prediction regardless.
