The exchange was bad...simple as that...Ben and/or Redman take the blame there...yes maybe the snap was a fraction of a second slower or something like that who knows...but the exchange between the 2 was not good. In the slow-mo replay I saw the ball might have been a fraction higher than usual when he went to hand it off (like the announcer said)...who knows...either way it sucked, hahahahahah

 

Yeah and Redman said that he never looks at the exchange. I wonder if that's common among backs? He said he wants to look at the defense instead of the exchange. I'm really not sure it sucked though...if you're a titans fan! LOL!

 

When you watched some RBs during hand off's you can see they are looking ahead and not at the ball...if all do this...who knows...but in a way I'd want to see what was coming at me or what I was going at...as I would assume for most of them taking a hand off as become fairly routine at this point in their careers (though as today proved screw ups can see happen).

 

I thought I had heard before that you're supposed to "look the ball in" but it probably is on a person to person basis.

It is the job of the QB to put the ball in the pocket.It is the job of the RB to make sure he makes the right pocket and clamp down and secure the ball..The ball was not placed in the pocket probably do to the scramble drill they where doing on that play..

Bad Coaching if the wrong peeps are on the field in a critical play call a time out.Coaching 101..Pouncey going down got in the heads of the entire Football Team, Tomlin needed to find a way to keeep that from showing ,but we did not.
