Just curious what everyone's thoughts are. With the poor showing today, and LSH now being out with a torn ACL...do you think we see Dwyer back?

Maybe. If they do, they should start him and see what he can do with a chip on his shoulder. Then again, he will probably get an actual chip on his shoulder running behind our current line...

They have to do something, to thin with Bell and LSH out. Dwyer makes the most sense

No this game wasn't bad due to who was in at running back. It was bad because Will Johnson was out at FB, they had planned to use Beachum as a blocking TE and instead had to get DJ involved in lead blocking and as a TE blocking at the edge. IT was a bad plan to begin with something that the Titans had scouted out and were playing a good defense against it. They could have had AP in there and he would have struggled. Dwyer would have fair no better than Redman the way the Titans defense was dictating to the offense. Next week they will not have such a drastic scrapping of the game plan.

Nope. The Pats will sign him as soon as they realize we may have interest.

    should they...yes...will they...probably not.

should they grab Reid Fragel off Cinnci PS....YES

Pick his brain for this week....as you know the Bengals are talking to Harrison

Fragel a RT and former TE can take over the BEACHUM 3rd TE role.

I voted no, Sweetness, couldn't run behind this line.
People ask yourself, who has been evaluating our OL?
This is where the PROBLEM lies. This is the question
people should be asking .I sincereley hope
that the Rooney's take a a BROAD overall picture of
their football operations, and ask themselves, can we do better?

He shouldn't have got cut from the beginning. If he came back now it would be too much hostility. And in other news....can we bring back Marshall McFadden now?

Well we probably need to go to the Canadian league and get 4 or 5 scat backs and get rid of every RB we have currently.

None of our runners are fast or elusive enough to dodge all the pursuit they are getting in the backfield,so if we can't get the OL going we better get a stable of 4.2 guys to play dodge ball, because Football is out of the question when it comes to our run game.

I like this idea. Right now, TE is the problem, not RB.

I said from the get-go that it was a big mistake to cut Dwyer. Yes he is inconsistent, but he has TALENT. Redman can have all the heart in the world, he does not have the talent that Dwyer has. I am not a Redman hater, but that was probably one of the worst RB performances I have ever seen.

I voted NO, since I think Dwyer was cut for something else other than his football skills. They didn't like his attitude. I for one hope the phone call has already been placed, because I am sure the NY Giants will be calling too. I am just skeptical that the Steelers will want him back.

    Well I voted no...

But Bouchette is reporting on PG+ that the Steelers are in fact re-signing him. Not seeing it anywhere else yet.

Well that's unexpected, but yet good news. Glad the organization can admit they made a mistake. Hopefully Dwyer can capitalize on yet ANOTHER opportunity handed to him.

It doesn't take any inside information to know that the Steelers' offensive line can't block. Not sure how much Harrison adds there. I know that football is not transitive but if the Titans defense did that to us I can't imagine what the Bengals will do.

It's pretty surprising. I voted no, because I didn't think they'd 'swallow their pride'. Good news.

I didnt think they would do it just because it confirms what a terrible idea it was to begin with. Who the hell is making these decisions in the first place?
