Watching the game today on TV it appeared there were a lot of empty seats in the stadium. If the game was a sellout there must have been a lot of people in the bathroom or at the concession stands during the game.

Well a "sell out" doesn't mean that everyone comes to the game. It just means that all the tickets get sold.

From years of watching Steeler games today in my opinion it was noticeable that there were a lot of empty seats. Maybe a sign of things to come and the Rooney's should take note.

On a side note it didn't seem to be that loud today during the game.

I was there. Lots of empties. Was able to get rid of my tix and go with neighbors who had club east seats from work so I met up with a good friend of mine who is a VP in a local company and has 8 club tickets too. He took his fam (5) and had 3 extras. I was there as he sold them to a scalper at 11am for $50 each (face value = $260). He started at $400 for all 3 and the guy wasn't having it as he already had 4 club tickets and couldn't sell them. Inside we met up with a ticket broker he uses when he needs more than the companies 8 and he (the broker) told us that he had 50 extra tickets that he couldn't get rid of. He has a feeling that this is going to be a bad year for him with Steelers tickets especially after todays loss.

In all it was a poor showing given that it was the first game and a really nice day weather wise. It looks like its going to be a 'buyers market' for Steeler tickets this season.
