I am sorry I was under the impression that Ben threw the passes in this game? I was also under the impression that he ignores the play call and even the terminology when he goes to his favorite hurry up offense. I know Todd Haley calls the plays and maybe it was for a short one yard pass play but he isn't the magic QB that creates on the run that would be Ben, or he who shall remain blameless. Oline Sucks, Redman fumbles twice, lack of playmakers, OC that doesn't call a wide open passing attack, no best friend at OC that lets him be a gunslinger. It is so rough being Ben.

 

I love MY Steelers but THEIR fans...

Dwyer was right so far...The Steelers should be regretting cutting him. Redman was 6 carries for -4 yards and two fumbles in the first half....LSH has barely been healthy since he arrived...and Felix Jones doesn't know the playbook. As I said before...Dwyer was the best RB on the roster until proven differently....really thought I would be proven wrong week one....lets hope by week 2

Jarvis Jones and Woodley should be your starters the rest of the way...Worilds nickname the rest of the season should be BREATHER......Jones needs a BREATHER....Woodley needs a BREATHER.

The Steelers should once again try to get the CUT BLOCK removed from the game.....Did every defensive player in the game all say "WE TOLD YOU SO" at the same time.

Wheaton is not ready to return anything...but he and Moye should be seeing more packages....especially with the running game not running.

and the Steelers better hope LiBerty Bell is the real deal.

Its really SAME OL STEELERS......can't score points....can't get off the field on 3rd down...can't create turnovers.

Let me sum it up like this:

 

We won't in the playoffs. The whole AFC North will not be that good and we will sneak in.

 

We hit our own players harder than the opponent. We knocked two of our own players out of the game.

 

Wow... didn't take long for us to start eating our own. Nanana boo boo I'm smarter than you... give me a friggin break. Now lean forward and choke yourself.

 

Wasn't trying to solve a problem, nor can anybody on this board solve the Steelers problems. Not too long ago, everyone was screaming for Bruce Arians to get fired. Well he's gone and the offense is worse! If you ask me, getting rid of him was a mistake, of course no one will admit that here.

I'll shut up now and let you and the others solve the Steelers problems.

LSH Needs surgery, but given his abysmal pass blocking is it that much of a loss?

He could be Jack, he definitely could be the problem. I wouldn't mind scrapping the whole thing and doing a total rebuild. I'm tired of seeing this team playing "sandlot" football. Of course we like it when it gets results but more times than not it doesn't.

 

Clarification: according to Kinkhabwala he's "facing surgery"

 

What happened to the zone blocking scheme looks like the same sorry O-line from the last 2 seasons.

 

Sandlot worked okay for Ben the first few years of his career because of his physicality. It won't, however, work well in the second half of his career as his body wears down.
