After reading some of the media they sure seem to think so Peter King of Sports Illustrated had us at last at 7-9. And I think it was Lindy's magazine had us in last place in the division, although Dejan Kovacevic of Pittsburgh Tribune Review had the Steelers at 10-6 the schedule is not that hard. I agree with him I say 10-6 being optimistic if Polamalu and Woodley can stay healthy the defense will force more turnovers, and the running game has to be better than last season.

i dont know about them finishing in last, but its gonna be a struggle all year. i think 10 wins will be good enough to win that division this year.

i also dont think their schedule is that easy. they have to go to New England, Green Bay, Minnesota. they also have the Bears, Lions and Dolphins at home. plus the road games in their own division. the only games i see as being easy is possibly the Bills, Raiders and Jets and hopefully the Titans in week 1.

they have talent, but i think this coaching staff has done a terrible job of utilizing that talent and getting the most out of it. they biggest problem they have is the oline and the preseason showed me nothing that tells me thats gonna change.

Wow, Peter King is usually pretty good with his predictions, hope he's way off on that one! But no, I don't see them finishing last and certainly not worse then Cleveland. I'll be shocked if Baltimore avoids a down year, especially since they lost most of the pieces that contributed to their SB victory. I think Cincy has a real shot at winning the division, I think it comes down to us and them. If Baltimore somehow manages to be in the thick of it, then it could be real easy for us to end up 3rd, it could be that tight but no way we are last.

totally agree with peter king.. i think 7-9 is right on .... maybe 6-10 .. but that will probably put us in 3rd place... not last.. thing with the steelers is we have a good D and terrible O so the scores are low.. lots fo 16-13 type games.. i posted elsewhere i think we had 9 or 10 games determined by 4 points or less so its hard to pick W/L with a team that has over half the game determined by a FG... we could go 12 and 4 or 4 and 12 and neither would shock me

no and the great cinci team that everyone has anointed as the class of the division barely beat an 8-8 steelers team that had tons of injuries last year. same as the ravens.

I don't see a clear cut lead horse in this division as of now. we need to win our division games and that would go a long way to winning the north.

Thats not very telling, division games are usually tough. But yes, they definitely need to win those games. After that, whats the first tie breaker? They sucked at that last year if I remember correctly, need to be better in that regard too.

all games are tough. it is the NFL. we hung pretty well with a decimated team last year. it's not like any of these teams blew us out of the water except in the first game. that was just an ugly game by every player on the team. more of a fluke then anything. if we don't shoot ourselves in the foot we still have the qb and defense to hang with anyone.

I think in the SI issue I read they have us as the 10 ranked team in the AFC. So, 10 out of 16. :(

I kind of feel they are right.

No, I think we'll finish 3rd in the division. Once again, our Oline is going to hold this team back.

I think we take the 2nd spot in the AFCN...I think Baltimore stumbles....and it probably comes down to the last week of the season....I think Cinnci takes the division if they stay healthy.

0-4 in the preseason means nothing...because Ben was only playing a series or two.....Ben is this team...and they will go as far as he can carry them with entire team on his back.

@_BigBen7 Ben quoted today..“I like that we’re still the underdogs & we’re the ‘nobody team’ & everyone’s counting us out. That’s still fine with me.”

1.Ravens "stumble" into first place deja vu
    2.Steelers rise as Steelers do
3.Cincy over confident but still Cincy
4.Cleves they is what they is

This is my vision now hopefully it improves to 20/20 ;)

With Ben, we're always a threat to take the division.
Offensive line offensive? No problem, he plays better under duress not worse!

Ben still standing, we're in the hunt for the division. That's it.

Nope, we won't finish last, the Brownies will make sure of that. I don't think Peter King is far off though. I predicted another .500 season and that we could finish 9-7 and sneak in or be 7-9 and not in the hunt.

It would be a historic achievement to finish last with an 11-5 record... ;) So NO!
